UPDATE 5 MAR 2024: VERY POOR and UNPROFESSIONAL ownership. See bottom for update info. I would not recommend using this company for a personal, cost efficient move. Just dealt with using this company and was charged $500 over the estimate cost for increased time of labor. I developed a highly conservative estimate of stuff to be moved for a 2 bedroom condo from one part of Kaneohe to another part only 10 mins away. The estimate was ~$2000.
Hi Daniel. We appreciate your feedback about the service provided and would like to take the opportunity to clear any misunderstanding in regards to our how you were charged. Your local move is charged on hourly, we base our estimates on the average move of a certain size house.
They moved my items, yet broke my tv. This is not the reason im giveing them a 1 star. The broken tv took over a week to be replaced, i just moved in to my new place and had 0 tv for a week. IF it wasnt for me calling none stop and badgering them the entire time i felt they would of ignored the fact they broke it. Funny enough, They came really quickly to pick up my broken tv.... and to leave me without a tv. It gets worse.

Chelsea, we hear you and want to make sure we can address your concerns. We understand moving is an extremely stressful moment and we feel for you as we know that this isn't an easy task, especially for inter-island moves.
Told my uncle to use Hero Moving because they helped us in our move back in Oct. He is semi-blind and I feel they took total advantage of him because of his sight. They damage so many boxes, drop cabinet drawers, throwing boxes off their van, and even lost one of his big boxes (40inx30inx30in) full of dishes and tools. He tried calling the owner 5 times and no response. So upsetting.
We have been talking to your uncl e regarding the box he said is missing. Our team picked up in one location and dropped at location B. As explained to him over the phone, the truck was completely unloaded at the destination, therefore, EMPTY.
FROM HERO…TO ZERO! We held high hopes for the best in choosing HERO moving company for our household move from Honolulu to Kona Hawaii. Pros:- Offered the best (initial) price among all shippers. Great sales pitch. Cons: Confusing information provided regarding estimate, shipping/arrival schedule, and insurance. Breakage of household items during packing. Damage to NEW wood floors during packing. Poor packing.

The movers were good. They weren’t able to get my bed in the new house. Called the company I bought my bed from and they sent only 2 people the nest day and were able to get the bed in. The biggest issue was that the movers initially said they were going to go on break for 15 minutes that turned into an hour of me calling asking them where they were and the fact that I was charged for the movers being on lunch for an hour.
Hi Mike. I apologize for the delay in replying. I went over your charges. There is a 1 hour subtraction which corresponds to the lunch break the guys took. You were not charged for the crews lunch break, only for work hours and drive time. Hope this clears up any doubts you might have had.
Replying to this company saying I am trolling them. I am not. Google allows anyone customer or not to leave a review. This is to expose internal issues and underhanded business practices to inform other consumers and improve the overall service quality. The cheap trick of saying I am trolling so people will ignore the review shows their lack of intelligence and understanding how this platform works. Once again STAY AWAY!! Read below for more info. Edit- Gabe reached out to me to edit or delete my review. I am not one to leave a bad review, and especially don’t want to impact a local business in a negative way. However, what I stated below is true. The charges far exceeded what we were quoted and some things were carelessly packed. He assured me they do their best to train their staff, so maybe my particular experience was unique. They have plenty of excellent reviews that would lead me to believe my experience was not typical.

Hero Moving Hawaii is incredible! This weekend a team of six GENTLEMEN moved 1600 sq. ft. of office space for my law firm. The move included very heavy furniture, heavy boxes of books, loose items, and delicate items. They wrapped every single item with care. Setting up the move with owner Gabriel was easy and efficient. Victor was the lead guy in charge of the move and he did a fantastic job. He communicated with me throughout the entire process, regularly checking in if I needed anything or had any questions.

I engaged Hero moving to help my 96 year old uncle prepare for interior painting of his house. We ordered a POD and needed all the heavy furniture moved into it. Just a few days before I needed the move completed Gabe, the owner, gave me a reasonable rate and was able to provide services on a Saturday. Communication was great. The team called the night before and then on the morning of the move they called to confirm the time they would be arriving.

Hero Moving Hawaii is hands down the best movers to do business with. From beginning to end the whole experience was very professional, kind, understanding, and quick! The job was to practically move a whole household from one side of the island to the other within only an 8 hour time period. which included disassembling furniture so that it would be able to be moved, removed wall mounted items that were screwed to the wall, packed random miscellaneous items carefully, and even took extra care with my fragile…
