Royal Hawaiian Movers

We had an in home estimate for our move from Oregon to Oahu but still got overcharged about $2000. We ended up spending $14,000 instead of $12,000 written quote! The worst part is six missing boxes with valuable items which were supposedly inventoried with their Mickey Mouse system; what a joke. On top of that the movers broke other items and stripped all the bolts from our beds. Ronyl at claims made a lot of empty promises and passed us on to the manager Jeff who was rude, unprofessional and simply not empathic.

Where do I even begin... To all of the residents of Oahu and most especially our military who serve, DO NOT trust this moving company. I am so very upset with how my husband and I were treated. It is crazy to think that my husband is serving the country to protect the lives of THESE TYPES OF PEOPLE. We had been moving back to the islands, and Royal Hawaiian movers were hired to help us get our things moved into our home. Now, being from here, we KNOW what true Aloha is.

Looks like they removed my review. We moved from Oahu to Washington about three years ago. Our beautiful Christmas ornaments were stolen, and the claim office would not return our call. They have a lot of thieves among this company. I would never choose them to move my stuff again. BEWARE of this moving company. They have it out for military families. After three years, we are still devastated about our Christmas stuff being stolen.

First off with the stop order movement somehow the military assigned 2 different carriers and 2 different shipment1) was royal Hawaiian, the second was aloha international. Aloha international contacted us immediately came out and did our Packing survey...almost a week later royal hawaii called to do the same, which made us stop and try to figure out why we were getting contacted by someone else.

The people doing the packing were very nice but unfortunately I think they were in a hurry, and they packed rooms out of order and left quite a few expensive things behind and packed items that were easy to replace. The gentleman supposed to be packing the kitchen, was his last day and was the one who left items behind. It's already a little too late to do anything as Royal Hawaiian won't take any blame or at least say sorry we cut corners.

Lazy movers. I had to be at work while the movers delivered our stuff, so my 8 months pregnant wife was at home dealing with it. The delivered some stuff inside, but left half our stuff outside our doorstep. Also, they broke my doorbell in doing so. Avoid this company at all cost. I'm in the process of filing a formal complaint within USAF channels to make sure no one else on base has to deal with this.

Warning: Avoid Hawaii Moving Pros in Honolulu – Classic Bait-and-Switch We hired Hawaii Moving Pros in Honolulu after speaking with Chris a week ago. We accepted their quoted price, paid a deposit, and confirmed everything again the day before the move. On move day (May 9, 2026), Foreman Barak Segal showed up, looked at our items, and immediately demanded a 20% price increase. He said it was because he had to walk to the loading dock and do professional wrapping on our buffet and artworks.

Very disappointed. We had high hopes on the first day, as things started out well. They had great custom wooden crates built for our taxidermy and high value items. However as time went on the movers did not listen or respect us when we told them they needed to finish for the day by 4; they worked well after 5:30. They also crammed my daughters clothes into a flat box and got very annoyed after we requested they put them into a hanging wardrobe box, which we had asked for at the walk through.
