College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Colorado Springs

I am frankly disappointed with the service I received. The team showed up 45 mins late and damaged my furniture along the way. I paid for the premium to cover any damages furniture, however once I filed a claim I never hear from Colleg Hunks again. Additionally, the two men had a nonchalant attitude and took their sweet time moving my stuff and frankly getting moving at all. I will not use College Hunks again and I would never recommend the company.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I highly recommend avoiding this moving company. They provided an incredibly inaccurate estimate for my move, and the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. The manager/lead, Shawn, was completely unhelpful and unprofessional. When I asked for a copy of the original estimate, Shawn claimed we didn’t identify all of our household goods correctly. However, he failed to provide the original documentation of that estimate, making it impossible to verify his claim.

Canceled a move and never got my deposit back. The general call center would not provide contact details of the local office responsible for refunding me. Poor and unethical business practice to keep potential client's funds and not be accessible.

We will never use nor recommend this company again! When we got a quote we mentioned we had furniture in storage that needed to be put together and we were assured that it can be done. Fast forward to moving day I asked about protecting the carpet since it’s a new house and they did nothing for it. I also asked if they can put a bed together and they said they don’t do that because they didn’t take it apart.

I was looking for a full service moving team from COS to Denver. However, my new apartment flooded so I had to delay my move. I had already paid a deposit due to pressure tactics (They got me lol) Well the next morning when I found out about the flood I cancelled my move and here I am still waiting on my money i paid back. Per their policy I was eligible for a refund .

If I were just reviewing the team that came for the junk removal I would give a higher score. They were both polite, clean, worked quickly, and did a good job overall. But the company and customer service is bottom of the barrel. I reached out for an estimate for junk removal. I got a text that asked for pictures of the items to give an estimate so I sent pictures of an old fridge and piles of tree trimmings in the yard; but I never got a response.

Job was quoted as being $3100 max by Jarrod the salesman, and I was assured it couldn’t increase past that. Job was quoted at 9.5 hours, to include the boxing materials and the actual boxing of all items in the home, and would decrease (as well as the price) depending on how much we boxed ourselves. My wife and I boxed 95% of the house and moved things into common areas to expedite the move.

On August 3, 2026, we hired College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving to remove junk from our garage. The items included mostly cardboard boxes from a recent move, a mattress pad, a crib mattress, and a few trash bags containing broken-down cardboard. The crew that arrived on August 3 informed us that their truck was already full and that they would need to return the following day to finish the job. Despite this, they chose to remove approximately 75% of the items from our garage that same day.
