In their own words
More Like College Skunks. Way overpriced dont even bother. Rude staff. Sent one estimate and called back with a 2000 dollar more estimate for a move. How they get any buisness you got me. Don't waste your time call someone else
Ma'am I will post my previous response to you so future customers can judge for themselves. You don't get a local price for a long distance move. 6/3/26 - Mrs. Furneaux, the first estimate was incomplete that was sent by the call center before my manager Justin had time to finalize.
Was just informed that this company likes to litter neighborhoods with advertisement signs on county property with no permit. I did my own investigation and can confirm that the company does have signs littered in neighborhoods around town with no permit on county property. The owner also seems they have a ego problem with a holier than thou type of attitude. You don't see this type of stuff with two Men and a truck. AVOID!
While their services might be good, I hate all of the littering they have recently done by placing their signs on county property or on power poles. In my neighborhood they placed a sign at every intersection. Bruh what a horrible reply. I will never use this service and will do everything in my power to spread the word. STOP LITTERING MY NEIGHBORHOOD AND TOWN CLIFF.
Honestly, I am not a big fan of them either. If you know of another way to replace the hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue, please let me know. That revenue pays the HUNKS and provides for my family.
The movers were an hour late and that was the best part of their service. I literally had to go shut myself in my closet because it sounded like they were tearing down my house! I was told that they would bring all the tools & supplies …
Update 6/24/25: Hello Miss M.Shelley I identified with brand central you used the Augusta Georgia College HUNKS location on June 13th. Your truck was loaded in Grovetown, GA. Please remove your negative review from the Destin Florida College HUNKS location. Thank you.
I filled the info online. Everything seemed to be ok. Then I called to get estimate and they said they won’t move within Florida!
Hello Luz K, you received some incorrect information. Please call us directly at the Destin branch [phone removed]. We move clients to south FL all the time. … More
I witnessed an employee who was driving a company car cat call a couple of women waiting to cross a road in Destin this morning.
We don't have company cars only trucks. I will question the employees about this. In the meantime grow up...
Cliff or whoever replies to customers needs to check into reality. But I guess that is what you get for unskilled labor.

In their own words
We used College Hunks to move to our new location of Grow Your Gift Conservatory of Music. Once we got in touch with the local office, it was white glove service from there! The office staff was patient and kind with our “interesting” service requests. The manager who came for the quote was on time and communicative. The day of the move, the guys were absolutely phenomenal. They moved quickly and carefully both loading and unloading. They were kind, funny, and worked well together.
Marlayna Goosby, We’re happy to hear we were able to meet your expectations! It means so much to us when customers share their experiences. Please do not hesitate to contact us again for any of your junk hauling and moving needs!
Kiko and Zach quickly and professionally helped me dispose of some old broken furniture and mattresses at a good price. Would recommend!
Eli Harmon, Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We appreciate your review and are always more than happy to help whenever you are in need of any junk hauling or moving services in the future.
I needed someone to load my mother's items into a U-Haul for a move from FL to TX. I choose this company based on its positive reviews, and I'm glad I did. The scheduling process was convenient, and they did a good job of communicating as the date (May 2026) approached. On the morning of the move, Mason and Grayson showed up on time, were courteous, and got everything loaded in an efficient manner.
Thank you, Nicholas Long. Our professional movers at College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Destin are committed to reliable service and careful handling of every item. It’s great to know your move went smoothly with our team.
We made the call yesterday and our job was done by noon today. The communication was excellent and the work was accomplished in a professional manner. We highly recommend and will use again when needed. Jonah and Joe were courteous, just great workers. We really can’t say enough positive about this company. We were reticent to try them the first time, even though we had seen their ads around. Glad we took a chance. Our job is complete tonight and we are happy.
Glad we were able to help, Regina Lee! We always strive to provide the best experience for our customer’s junk removal and moving needs and are extremely pleased to see this was the case for you.
