I hired Two Men and a Truck. I really, really wish I had read the online reviews prior to hiring them. I read them immediately after and was sick to my stomach. I do NOT recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone. I moved a very heavy, specialty item. I marked down on my estimate that I had this very heavy specialty item. They sent a crew that had zero experience in moving this type of item AND the crew waited for a long time waiting for an appliance dolly to move it.

My movers incorrectly loaded and strapped down two different pieces of furniture which led to both of them being damaged. The movers admitted to their error and assured me based off of the contract I had that the company would fix the damaged furniture and if they can’t they would replace or reimburse. Then they were unable and physically too weak to move my mattress up my stairs so I had to help my paid movers move my own furniture.
It would have been nice that after having been in an accident and unable to walk properly, after downsizing by 1/3 to 1/2 from the time of the quote, and having a one hour drive to my new place.....that my stuff would have made it all onto the truck. They refused outright to take my two TVs. Didnt communicate to me why, until it was to late, they were leaving things in rooms while I'm wobbling around not able to keep up with what they were doing.
We are sorry to hear about your experience. While we expect our movers to make every effort to fit everything into the truck, unfortunately, there is a maximum capacity. According to your estimate, you said there were only about 20 boxes.
Where to begin.... If you want a DAMAGED house, appliances, and furniture they are the right company for you. 3 weeks later and nothing is fixed, they want payment before they fix anything. First showed up an hour and a half late with no phone call. 40 minutes to load an "L" shaped sofa. Striped screws, but tried to say they were like that. I was there, I saw that they were not using the correct bit. Tried to bill us for blankets and straps when we had our own.
Here's the review in a nutshell - do NOT use this company. Full details were posted on Yelp, but essentially our damage claims have been handled poorly, and our most expensive claim was outright denied. I feel that this was done completely inappropriately.

Worst moving experience ever. Whole interaction started out nice and professional until the actual moving. The movers don't seem to care much for your stuff. I ended up with a broken 48'' TV screen, scratched leather couch and a broken lamp. I requested both packing and moving services, so they did all the packing. I still have the original packaging for the TV but they never used it. They basically moved the TV with no protective package.
We apologize that your move did not meet your expectations. We move hundreds of TV’s every year; we have found that using moving pads and securing the TV to the walls of the truck is the best way to move TV’s without damaging them.
Bed Bugs!!!! Be very careful using two men and a truck out of New Berlin. I just moved with them and immediately discovered bedbugs on my bed after it came off their truck. I had pest control come out immediately the next day and they were able to confirm there were live bedbugs on my mattress. They were also able to confirm that there were no signs of any previous bedbug activity on my mattress other than the live ones they found, which obviously came from the moving truck.

Update 7/19/2018: I was able to resolve my issues with the owner. She understood the problem and was quick to offer a resolution. 7/9/2018: TERRIBLE. UNPROFESSIONAL. RUDE. **We paid over 5000 for this move and this is what we got** Based on my experience thus far, I would give them a negative star, if I could. The process started very well with Justin providing us the quote and then two great folks loaded and unloaded our stuff with decent care.
I'm so sorry for the disappointing experience that you had with us Rohit. The communication should have been so much better from the beginning, and we are sincerely sorry for the frustration that this has caused you.

The three-man crew (see attached) that handled our move was outstanding from start to finish. They arrived right on time, backed the truck up perfectly into a tight spot, were professional, energetic, courteous, and worked incredibly hard all day long, even though it was the hottest day of the year so far - mid 80's - they kept moving nonstop with great attitudes and excellent teamwork.
