I would give College Hunk Movers a one-star rating. My sister and I had to move our mom’s furniture after she passed away, and we needed professionals who could handle heavy items. We clearly explained the situation to the booking agent, but it seems like the movers weren’t properly informed. When they saw the furniture, they seemed unhappy, and to make things worse, they showed up late, despite calling to say they’d be there in 20 minutes.

College hunks were very unprofessional. Had three so called Hunks only one worked while the rest took nonstop cigarettes breaks. Broke my contract. I AM WHEELCHAIR bound left us stranded finding someone else to finish our move. They did nothing but complain the entire time. The truck was half full and not even finished moving our stuff and left our furniture banded at our old home for us to move. The owner Matt did nothing for us. He also broke our contract and is difficult to deal with if something goes wrong.

Overall we were disappointed with the service. The reason being that they did not cover our furniture in the truck and our love seat was scratched and had holes on the back of the love seat. Then they dropped our bed onto the ground and ripped the mattress protector we purchased. They were a little too inexperienced. Then when we filled out there questionnaire they did not get back to us about our concerns.

Charged TWICE! Called both the local franchise and they hung up twice. Corporate won’t help and said they can’t do anything. It’s a shame because The movers Darren and Vernon were great. But now I’m out a ton of money and no one is helping.
