We hired Eagle Moving to move us to an apartment in Milwaukee. We told them ahead of time what the job would entail (# of boxes, furniture, etc). Initially the movers were supposed to show around 11 AM. They didn't show up until 2:30 PM. …
I called around to various places prior to moving with every place not having availability on the date/time needed. I explained the situation to my landlord asking if it was possible to move in one day early and my landlord recommended this company. When I called in the morning they stated they had no availability. When I called back in the afternoon they stated they could be available between 11-2 pm to assist with my move.
Company was hired by the city of Milwaukee in regard to a foreclosure which was a misidentification and illegally done on my private property. They first came to my house and took all my designer coats, shoes, and purses. They claimed to have emptied the house but did not because my belongings wasn't outside. Then they sent me an invoice and tried to make me pay for "storage" which is a form of extortion.
Eagle Movers, Inc. has many years of experience handling difficult eviction-related moves. We acted strictly as the moving service for a court-ordered eviction overseen by the Sheriff’s Office.
Hired to remove tenants belongings from unit (trash was to be put curbside) and moved to storage. They simply moved all belongings to curb because tenant said they would pickup (which they have not). Now I have to pay to have property disposed of. My question is why they listened to tenant request, I paid for their service not tenant. Dont understand why they bring moving truck to site??? Not a single item was loaded and hauled away.

They came for an eviction, and Sheriff claimed everything as junk. Their head person who was giving all the orders stated I would only be charged for travel fee which is $200. However, they still charge me $85 and $200 did nothing but moved alove seat! I had to call them after a month passed by for the balance of my $400 deposit I give them, with their two weeks stated return policy of deposits Then the supervisor when I called Eagle Movers and Storage stated the people on the job has nothing to do with the making…
I am writing this review for other landlords who are considering hiring Eagle Movers for eviction moves. We hired them for a move out in Racine county. Although we were aware of the rates, we did not know that the crew decides on what they are going to take. Long story short, the crew came in (on time), looked around the apartment and took nothing (there were only 2 couches and a recliner to move). This ‘move out’ service cost me $315.
The moving crew was late by a few hours when they came to move my possessions. Then, they were surly the entire time. This year, I'm moving to another state, so I needed to pick up my items - Pedro made me wait at a De Forest gas station …

Used them for residential moves 2x in ten years. Punctual. Curtious. Cautious. Will use them again, hands down. They took the time to explain things to me, ask where I wanted items. Plastic wrapped items, etc. I couldn't have moved so quickly without them doing the heavy lifting. Worth it.
Best moving experience I’ve ever had! Had previously used other moving companies in the milwaukee area and dealt with disfunctional service/organization. The crew had an amazing attitude, even while carrying heavy furniture up three flights of stairs. They were professional, cheerful, and careful with both my old place and my new home. They took all the stress out of moving day. Would definitely use them again.
Just moved today, a big move that filled the truck and took a full day and then some and our team lead by Holly worked their butts off while being kind, fun, careful, and conscientious (of fragile items, art, etc). They had to take apart some furniture to get it in and put it back together perfectly. A great experience with a pleasant team. Would hire again for any move
