This is the worst Moving Company. They moved me and my family on November 8, 2019 they charged us $1600.00 to move us every since that day we have been trying to get our furniture repaired due to damages by the College Hunks Moving and Hauling. This is what they damaged while moving us in: 1.They broke our Queen size bed, we're sleeping on the floor. 2. The scratched our new badly our dark hard wood floor. 3.They damaged my China Cabinet. 4. The damaged our night stand for one bedroom suit.
We corrected all of the issues listed by Ms. Eckmann to her satisfaction before Christmas 2019 and she promised us she would remove this review. She removed the negative review on Yelp and it is our belief she has tried to remove this one but doesn't know how.
The two young boys were overly interested in having conversations more than they were about moving items. One decided to stop and tell a joke, in which I said, "we don't have time for jokes, we have time for moving." He respectfully continued his job. The other worker continued to ask questions and attempt conversations, often interrupting our personal ones.
Faith never called back and we have to assume she used another College HUNKS location. This is not typical behavior for our crews and will not be tolerated, but we need your help addressing it since we don't have your name in our system, and have to assume the job was completed for a relative.
Reached out to them because of their outstanding rating. First impression was very good. Friendly and nice response on the phone and got an appointment scheduled for a onsite meeting immediately. The local guy arrived 4 hours later than scheduled. So far so ok. Things can come in between and jobs may take longer than expected. The walk through was professional and we got an estimate at the end with the promisse to get it in writting by the next day. After that didn't happen, I called the hotline again.

Today College Hunks moving company showed up to move approximately 10 pieces of furniture out of our house. Upon meeting them, they were very friendly and polite. They showed up around 9 am and left around 3 pm. The two men who showed up were approximately 130 pounds each and it took them 5 1/2 hours to move the furniture just across the street without re-assembling anything due to time constraints.
Two Men and a Truck never moved this "new" furniture and would have refused to move Ikea furniture that was still assembled. Ikea furniture, and any other particle board based furniture, is not covered by any of the move companies in the area and all make you sign a waiver. Ms.
I had the WORST experience with College Hunks on 8/25/2021. We requested 3 hunks to come and load up our Uhaul. The first hour or so, they were overall doing a good job. About 80% of our boxes were moved into truck. (There were about 10 boxes left in the house after they left which we were very disappointed by.) When it came time to move our furniture, they started picking and choosing what to bring out of the house and into the truck.

From the reviews that I read about College Hunks of Greenville I was expecting a great no hassle moving experience. Unfortunately I did not receive that. I scheduled my April move in February as soon as I was able to confirm my actual move date since I know that spring moves are very popular. I didn’t have any issues scheduling the move and at the end of the call, I was told that I would be receiving a call from the “manager” a couple days before my move to confirm final details and to find out more information…

I am sorry but this business is shady and should be avoided at all costs. I spoke to not only the scheduler but also a sales agent about having 1 item moved from the driveway to the back patio. I was given a price for that move at $325. Now, 2 days later when I call back in to confirm price and appointment the price goes up to $750. How and why can it double??? Supposedly the people I spoke with are not in the region yet when you call in you have to give them your service address.
Mr. Muffly never contacted the Greenville franchise to request our services, therefore, we did not have a chance to honor the price quoted. We have offered multiple times and we are offering once again, please call us at [phone removed] and we will see what we can do to help.
***READ BEFORE YOU HIRE THIS ORGANIZATION ** They sent three movers but only two worked. We were charged a rate for three movers. They sold us fictitious insurance coverage claiming that we would be covered for $11K but after they tore up our couch, mattress, and television they gave us $300. They were slow, unprofessional, and unreliable as they gave us bad information regarding insurance coverage. I would not recommend this company.

Juwon, Michael and Cole were friendly, arrived on time, and were very careful moving our 200lb furniture pieces. They dessemembled and reassembled our beds quickly and finished the job under the estimated time. Highly recommend reaching out to Hunks in part because I had reached out to two other moving companies who estimated far more than hunks and didn't who didn't communicate in a timely fashion. Hunks was a last choice but clearly the best with communication and cost.

Was able to schedule a same-day pick up on a Saturday. Team was at the house quickly, loaded up the furniture, and hauled it off for a very reasonable price. Dom and Brandon were great; friendly, professional, and worked fast. Would recommend.

Recently my partner booked College Hunks for our move, everything started out well and seemed to go incredibly smoothly throughout the move, I had everything packed already, our mattress already bagged, the furniture already wrapped, all they had to do was move it pretty much, we stayed at our apartment while they began packing the truck and informed them of what was to go and what they didn’t need to worry about, we left to go ahead to our new home to get everything ready for them to arrive and get our dogs…
