Will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. My experience with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving was extremely stressful and devastating. I paid for a full-service move, but key services were not completed, the cost exceeded the quote, and the overall handling of my move fell far below expectations. I hired this company because I needed help with a full move, including packing and assembly. My quote was around $2,900 and included services that were not actually completed.

This is the second time I have used College Hunks for a move. They dropped a Bombay Chest with a granite top that is destroyed. They offered me $90 for a $750 piece of furniture. The woman over the phone said I signed for 60 cents a pound in insurance. I told her I signed on the page where the mover said I was to sign for the coverage. He never told me that there was another option for 1.20 per pound which the woman said was available.
🚚 MOVING NIGHTMARE WITH COLLEGE HUNKS 😤 My family and I booked this company a week in advance, hoping to make it to Texas on time and settle into our new home. They even sent someone to our house days before to “guarantee” we’d be packed up and out on schedule. Spoiler alert: they didn’t. When moving day arrived? Radio silence. My wife and I called the call center multiple times because apparently you need permission to speak to the actual office. I was sleep-deprived and begging to talk to a supervisor.

These gentlemen were quite the expedited movers returning items back into my home from a stationary POD in my drive. I paid them for 2 hrs labor. They were finished in 1 1/4 hrs. They moved fast, which did damage to my resanded and newly varnished hardwood floors. They did not use pads to move a China cabinet, dragging it across my living room floor leaving scratches which will now have to be redone...I even had to stop this operation several times due to me questioning their moving techniques...

DO NOT USE COLLEGE HUNKS Moving Company! I labeled every single box that was FRAGILE with red fragile stickers on every possible surface. Fragile boxes were placed on the bottom, stacked high with heavy wood side tables on TOP of multiple boxes. Not one of the 10 ratchet straps I provided were used, nor the extra blankets. EVERY piece of furniture was damaged. Priceless inherited heirlooms that are irreplaceable were damaged. Bikes, lamps, labeled FRAGILE items, wood furniture, dishes ALL DAMAGED.

I’ve used college hunks in my previous move and had a great experience. This go around was not the same. I had 3 movers, one of which who appeared qualified and knew what he was doing. Two of them were extremely careless with my belongings. …
