Called to get a single door fridge/freezer removed. Was told over the phone that 1/8 of the truck space would be $99 and it goes up from there depending on the size but since it was just the one fridge it should be the $99 cost...cool. Booked an appoint same day and was told they could come out between 10am-12pm. Received a call that they were running late and pushed it back between 2-4pm...no problem.

Scheduling was easy, but the movers stacked boxes sideways for some unknown reason, broke furniture items, there has been no urgency in resolving the damage (was told someone would email within two days - it took over a week and there hasn't been any additional info provided), the movers tried to explain that paperwork requiring signatures did not say what the words on the page said, the movers left the first address without any communication that they were leaving or when to expect them at the new address, and…

If I could give zero stars I would. I have called three times total. I called the day The movers were at the house, flipping my refrigerator down the stairs and holding it upside down on the porch until they figured out another way to get it down those stairs. They did not come with an appliance dolly. They said they went off and forgot it. They said all they had was hand trucks that would not hold the weight of the refrigerator. When told not to leave it upside down they said chill. Don't worry.

Complete lack of professionalism and courtesy for the customers time. What was supposed to be a job done between the hours of 1-3pm did not get completed until 9pm. Had to talk to 3 different people to even get the movers to the apartment, upon arriving they complained about rain that had just stopped and then finally the boss man called to say they were sending over 2 other people to finish the job to replace the others that were late and did not want to complete the job.

My experience was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. Brandon and Greg made a great team. They were so courteous and worked very efficiently. I was amazed at how precise they wrapped the furniture with moving blankets, tape and wrapping. They were very careful not to cause any damage to furniture or walls. I would definitely use again. Mike N and Aiden P arrived on time and got to work. They wrapped n padded everything to prevent scratches n dings. Excellent job. They moved dresser n armoire, bed, frame, and mattress, washer n dryer, office desk n chair and sofa n loveseat. Rolled out green runway carpet n padded doorways. Loaded truck and secured items. Drove 20 minutes to new house. Unloaded and unwrapped everything into exact locations, setup bed n frame, picked up trash and off to next move. They shaved off 45 minutes and saved me money.

From the first phone call to the truck leaving the driveway, our experience with College Hunks was amazing. Very impressive customer service. Determining just what service I needed and how long to expect it to take was great. We just had lots of furniture moved within our home to prepare for some major maintenance work. This included going from the second floor bedrooms all the way to the basement. We even had a piano moved!
