I received 2 estimates and the man who came out and gave it was very nice, one quote with 2 guys one with 3. I called to schedule my move and the lady said she was going to have someone from this local office call me back because it looked like they "accidentally" quoted me the hourly rate for two men not three on the three men quote but raised the truck and travel fee by 40$ on the 3 men quote.

We used College Hunks as extra labor and knowledge to load 2 uhaul trucks for our long distance move. I had 120 moving blankets and told them multiple times that all furniture must be wrapped. When we unload the trucks at our destination, over 15 pieces of furniture were damaged due to improper or lack of wrapping The movers at the destination end pointed everything out before removing the pieces from the trucks.

Thanks for Ghosting us after talking to other residents of the building who had no idea wat they were talking about. We saved over $400., (not including the electronics you were going to charge a lot extra for), the next day with another company.

When I called they told me 1 truck and 3 guys would be able to do it. That they may even be done real quick and there was a minimum charge of 2 hours. I explained that when I was moved into my home 6 guys and 2 trucks were used to move my stuff. He didn't listen and sent 3 guys 1 truck. The poor guys were blown away with how much stuff I they had to move. They called for a bigger truck / help and were told no. My quoted 4-6 hour job, that may take less lol, took them 10 hours and 3 trips with the truck.

Only now getting to this review as I have finally moved away from the location that I used College Hunks to move to, which you will find relevant later. I moved to downtown Chicago 2 years ago and the team did a terrible job. They smelled of marijuana and poorly stacked things in their huge truck to the point where they said they couldn't fit anymore things into their big ol' truck. My family ended up having to put things in their truck and I had to put things in my car.

So I'm not sure what happened I believe it was in September if this year I hired this company to help me move a bunch of boxes from my basement to the garage I thought everything went wonderful I even spoke to the manager victor and told him that when I ready to bring the boxes back in I definitely will be going through them.

Very bad experience with this business. You can not trust them. When moving out old appliances and furniture the workers said they would take 2 twin mattresses in the load if we tipped them. Then, unkown to us the workers threw the mattresses out into a ditch about 3 miles from my place. A neighbor saw the mattress in the ditch and we had to go retrieve them. But the workers pocketed $200 extra. The company didn't offer to compensate. I will not use this company again.

I Do not recommend this moving company workers are not properly trained put a hole in my wall the boss does not care about the employees or there pay enough for them to do the work carefully in right all he cares about is the end of the job when the bill is paid and he keeps their tips if they don’t say anything one of them told me terrible experience and overpriced for the job do not recommend

We needed a short notice, small move from one assisted living facility to another and the "hunks" came through for us. I scheduled with the corporate office and the local movers were great. They moved everything (mostly) safely and efficiently. I would offer that the corporate office could require some pre-recorded video training for new employees that would keep them from slamming antique furniture wheels against door thresholds. Antiques 'wheels' are VERY different furniture than current-day workshop casters.
