Very disappointed with their service if I can give zero stars I would. On the moving day May 30th it was so hard to get a hold of them they were late and took forever to arrive to our new address. Two of our furnitures items were broken and we tried filing a claim, were told by one of the movers that his boss would take care of it and did not get a response. Later we found it that they had stolen my AirPods because when I tracked them they were at a random address.

So frustrating. Pickup for donation removal was March 14, 2025. It's now August 2025 and I still do not have the receipt for the donations, despite 3 previous requests. National phone number tells me that they do not have a phone number for their San Diego location. This is maximum annoying and unprofessional. It's also feeling pretty sketchy that they are withholding my receipt for charitable donations. Where is it? Did my stuff really get donated, or just trashed?

Worst experience I have ever had moving. Literally every detail of the move was done incorrectly. It was a simple move less than one mile away, they were only moving 7 large items and 10 boxes, with an estimate of 2 hours. I understand things take longer sometimes, but after 2 hours they hadn't even left my first apartment. After I told them to leave with only half my stuff, I had them put everything in the garage next to the street. Then I get the bill and they won't show me the itemized bill until I pay.

I booked with College Hunks San Diego but found a more affordable service. I cancelled well in advance (weeks). They never gave me my fully refundable deposit back ($230). I called the main line and the SD local line twice each and left voicemails. In the end I had to dispute with my credit card and Chase gave me the money back.

Be prepared to be spammed. Simply called for a quote and MY GOD do they bombard you with text, emails, calls...even after I asked for them to stop...they STILL are sending me messages, and calling. Also. They are at least 100 dollars more than all competitors in the area.

These guys backed into my parked car a week ago and have yet to respond to any messages/voicemails left by me and my insurance adjuster. I even went down to their office and left notes. It’s really disheartening for such a large company to not do the right thing.

College Hunks saved the day! I had 8 XL bags filled with construction debris on my driveway and I wanted it gone asap to not disturb my neighbors and to get my driveway back. College Hunks were able to come the same day and fully removed everything, this isn't the first time they have come through for me and I only want to work with them going forward! I made an appointment online for the same day. Clement called to follow up on the booking and said service was running a little behind, but he reassured me they would get to me. Later in the day he followed up, saying he would come pick up the couch himself. Clement was extremely professional and courteous in all communications and got the couch out in no time.
