Update* 3/21 after placing a lein on my house. They still havent returned 4 phone calls to speak with someone at the local office and legal time. *UPDATE* I've called that number provided and still no resolution regarding my claims. Ive called on 2/11, 2/18, and 2/20. Keep getting the run around when asking for their legal team since I stopped my payment check due to inability to resolve claim (Emailed saying they were sending me to their legal team for non payment).

Slow as molasses. Worked 2 hours an one went on lunch. Took waaayyy too long. One guy moves like a freaking snail. I, with my fuzed back, could do this faster. One guys in my bathroom right now. I've moved all over, these guys are the worst. If I make it thru the day without screaming it'll be a miracle

Opening Summary I had used this moving company several times over the years with good results, so this last experience was especially disappointing. Description of the Incident I informed the company in advance that one of the items being moved was an outdoor patio table with a stone top weighing more than 300 pounds, and they sent three movers.

I wish I had better things to say about this service as I am a very agreeable and understanding person. Instead, what I can say is that I was left with more damaged property than not and had my time and money wasted. All of this could have been avoided with proper guidance and communication between the service provider and myself.

While they were friendly and efficient in packing my cubes for storage, several pieces of furniture were broken, along with plastic tubs and some dishwasher. For example, my coffee table was packed upside down and whatever was in top was too heavy and the bottom shelf is broken.

Was told 3 different prices to haul a riding mower. First the gentleman said $219, I told him our quote was for $109 he then said yea we can do $109. After a phone call to the office turns out it was going to be $319! Bad pricing methods …

The price seemed fair, but very unprofessional. The company didn't provide any tools for the movers. Not even a tape gun!!! They had to use mine. And my tools. Had numerous issues with communication between call center and local office. …

Sent 3 person crew, 2 guys worked while 1 mostly stood around. Weren't organized,while 2 moved the other should have wrapped next piece but it didn't happen. They wound up breaking 2 mirrors in a China cabinet. I don't recommend!

2026 update: I’ve come here to give a 5-star review to College Hunks AGAIN! Google makes you provide an edit rather than allowing a new review - but I want to add how fabulous the crew was this time!! Nysa was amazing. She handled everything with such care and strength that I didn’t worry about anything! Nysa and Matt protected our new hardwood floors as they re-furnished our entire home. Nysa even took the time to ensure we placed felt feet on all our heavy items!!

If I could give more stars- I would!! I had ordered an armoire for my daughter’s room with white glove delivery. The delivery service said they were unable to bring it up the stairs due to the size. However, I measured and had my contractor measure and while it would not be the easiest (due to the stairs and weight of the furniture), would in fact, fit.

I called 6 places to get quotes on hauling some junk away in South Bend, IN. College Hunks were the only company to show up and give a quote. Then they showed up during my reservation time and loaded everything up and took it away. I would definitely use them in the future. Great service and everyone was super helpful and friendly!!!! There were also some car parts and 2 cabinets but I didn't save a picture of that.
