This was by far the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. I’ve used two other moving companies in the past, and both experiences were smooth and professional. Unfortunately, that was not the case with College Hunks. The two movers assigned to my job worked very slowly. What was estimated to be a 3.5-hour move ended up taking 8 hours. While I understand it was a rainy day, there were plenty of breaks in the rain when they could have continued working more efficiently.

Sadly, our St. Petersburg, FL College Hunks did not show up at all! The company scheduled them for 3 moves in one day and we were #3. They were scheduled to meet us at Public Storage at noon for a partial unload, then come to the condo at 4 pm. They knew we had an elevator scheduled for a 3 hour window. We had to unload at both places ourselves after we drove 900 miles!

Pretty sure they were dishonest with me in order to get some business out of me. Needed a same day emergency move, they assured me they could do it and took a deposit. Shortly thereafter started calling saying they weren’t sure they’d be able to complete the move but in order to get things done on time they’d send people immediately to come pack and the truck would arrive a few hours later.

I cancelled my scheduled job and received an email on March 5th indicating the job had been cancelled which is well in advance of the March 7th deadline for deposit return. I am extremely disappointed to note this company did not reimburse my deposit. This is a travesty and proves I was right in cancelling their help. This company is scandalous.

Quoted one thing over phone then more than double when they got to house. Left a mess & scratched my cement when dragging items off property. Even had help them lift spa into their truck. Wouldn’t recommend/wouldn’t trust over the phone quote

From the very beginning, the communication was excellent, the estimate process was thorough, and they took the time to answer every question we had, which gave us a lot of confidence before moving day. On moving day, Joe and the entire crew were phenomenal.
