I had a terrible experience with Small Moves out of Largo, Florida (owned by Craig Bell) and would not recommend them. I scheduled my move with Lance a week in advance for April 3rd at 10:00 AM. By 12:00 PM, no one had shown up, so I called—only to be told by Lance that he forgot to schedule my move. Had I not called, they likely never would have come. This delay cost me over $275 in additional expenses.
I decided to use this company because my last time moving both of my televisions broke and they ensured me they have TV slips to make sure that doesn't occur. Well day of the move I ask the movers if they have them and they said no. I called Lance and expressed my frustrations and he just said "they didn't have any".
I hired this company to move me from a first floor one bedroom to a first floor one bedroom with a stop a my storage unit on the way to the new apartment. I booked my appointment with Danielle who was wonderful and she said for a first floor one bedroom to a first floor one bedroom should take about two hours. Two guys showed up the day of the move at 10am and asked me to sign their paperwork stating they had arrived which I did.
So this company also trades under the banner of Pack & Load, and if you're looking for POD packing and unpacking, look under those reviews especially on Yelp. And believe them. Here's why. First, they make it easy to schedule, but once that's done, they're totally disorganized. I contracted for a Friday move and was quoted “mid-day”. That came and went and they could only say “well probably it’ll be late this afternoon or maybe tomorrow.
I wish I could give you 1/4 of a star. The movers broke my 80" screen tv & after the movers left they returned 20 minutes later accusing me of not paying them! I mean they turned that corner on 2 wheels in a different vehicle! The company that bought my condo was paying for my move. The movers were Orlando & Jessie.
Good job with moving all of my furnitures, except the piano, broke my upright piano, gave us only $240 for the damaged piano, piano can not be played anymore. I’m very unhappy , I would like them to buy us a used piano or at least $1000-2,500 to buy a used one, they refused.
Watched someone who has a white dodge truck with the company logo on it leaving a restaurant with 2 kids and an adult friend. The friend had a bottle of beer with him and they all got into the truck in belleair bluffs and drove away. Great example for the kids........
I definitely would not use this company if you have a move planned. One of the movers was incredibly lazy and was not helping the other movers, plus spent 2 hours taking a crib apart. Then, did not follow my instructions to wait for help …

I had a great experience with this company, they made getting pricing for a quote super easy and I never felt pressured to make a decision on the spot. The movers were very friendly, super fast, and handled everything with respect. We were very impressed by the care they took navigating corners and thresholds to ensure walls and steps had no damage. Small moves is the way to go. Only needed 2 guys for our move. They were very nice and efficient. The quote i was given was more than the actual payment. Was quoted for a 4 to 5 hour process and was only 3.25 hours. Lance was very nice and professional on the phone and the team was very quick to respond to any question or concern I had. On July 7 we had four employees assist us moving into a fifth-floor property. They went right to work and were very professional. Timely and friendly group. I wish I could remember their names (I wrote them down) but the name list is missing sorry!!! I would recommend them for any move in the area.
