In their own words
I don’t recommend this mover’s company Such a bad experience I had with them Firstly no professional people working for the company If you choose to have a business with them make sure you have a written contract Keep your eyes on the movers Bad care for your precious furniture They are experts in killing time, the job was supposed to be done in 3 hours they spent 6 hours Plus don’t be surprised at the end if you have broken furniture and a lot pieces of furniture missing too The company College Hunks NEVER got my…
Liamara Costa Ritchey, Thank you for choosing College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving. We hope to be your go-to company for all of your labor, junk hauling and moving needs. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. Thank you again!
Super disappointed. They took apart my bed frame, could not put it back together and left me with it in pieces. Screws were lost by them in the move and I was left at an apartment with no bed to sleep on. I had to go buy screws and tools the next day to figure out how to put it back together. I paid for experienced movers because I do not know how to build furniture and ended up having to build my bed frame myself after spending over 700 dollars on movers... My move was improperly quoted.

Update, almost 4 months later: WE HAVE YET TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. We call and get the “oh we’ll have someone call you back” and then we NEVER, EVER hear a response. It has been 4 months of them failing to respond, failing to call back, and failing to reimburse us for this horrible experience. If you call the number that they leave in their Google reviews, they do not answer. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS IF YOU VALUE YOUR FURNITURE OR ANY MODICUM OF DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Kayla Guest, We always strive to provide our customers with the best service possible and we’re truly sorry we did not leave you completely satisfied. Please contact us at your earliest convenience [phone removed] so that we can help resolve any other issues.
First let me get this out of the way- the guys were very nice and personable. But they did an AWFUL job keeping my stuff safe. Two pieces of furniture are now broken and a set of hardware is missing. And that’s just what I’ve found so far. Don’t go with this company if you expect your stuff to arrive in the same condition it left in.
Sara Gay, We’re very sorry you did not have a great experience with our business and wanted to apologize on behalf of our entire team. We’d be more than happy to facilitate a resolution if you could please contact us directly at [phone removed].
100% Do not use. We hired them to move some items from our house to storage in November 2025, to prep for a move. The crew showed up, were kind and friendly however, when the loaded a stained solid wood furniture piece they loaded it upside …
LAKings1981, We’re so sorry to hear about your recent experience with our services. We would like to hear more about your experience in greater detail if you could please contact us at [phone removed] when you have a moment.
We hired them in July to move to our other house, only 30 miles. I have used a few different moving companies in my time, this was absolutely the worst experience, and it is not even close. …
I PUT 99.00 DEPOSIT DOWN, THEN WAS CHARGED 312.00, THEY TOOK THE 99.00 AND DIDN'T CREDIT MY ACCOUNT. I EMAILED THEM AND NO RESPONSE. I PAID THE 99.00 TWICE.
Sharon Stenger, we are so sorry about the accidental double charge for the deposit. As we just discussed on the phone, the team thought it was a tip. Thank you for being so kind and understanding.

In their own words
I can’t say enough great things about this company! Nick and Jared were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They arrived early with great energy and a genuine smile, which immediately put me at ease. They took the time to walk me through all the paperwork, making sure I fully understood everything before getting started. What really stood out was how attentive they were to my specific needs, they listened, understood, and executed flawlessly. The entire process was smooth and stress-free.
We’re so happy to hear this, ShanTelle Chanelle. At College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving, our moving company takes pride in making relocations smooth, efficient, and reliable. Thank you for trusting us with your belongings!
Nathan and Logan did an amazing job helping me move into my 3rd floor apartment! They were professional, friendly, and worked incredibly hard, even with all the stairs. They handled my furniture and boxes with care, stayed positive the entire time, and made what could have been a stressful move so much easier. They were efficient, communicated well, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ended up exactly where I wanted it.
We’re so happy to hear this, Jennifer Tsan. At College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving SW Ft. Worth, our goal is to take the heavy lifting off your shoulders so you can enjoy a stress-free moving experience. Thank you for choosing our team.
Zion and Logan were THE BEST!!! I was not in a great place as I had previously paid family to move my items into storage. Not only did my brother in law throw my items in there, they made it to where my 10x25 unit was not big enough for my 2 bedroom apartment and the few things I had in the garage. I was very apologetic to Logan and Zion as I knew what it looked like and I informed them to slowly open it as I knew for sure things would fall out.
Charleether Givens, Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful review. Our team works diligently to provide our customers the best junk hauling and moving experiences. Reviews such as yours help provide them with encouragement to keep doing what they are doing.
Beyond helpful. The crew was professional, helpful and genuinely fun. One of the boxes had ripped and a ton of mugs and glass fell out they were so apologetic (wasn’t their fault) and they cleaned it immediately. It wasn’t a whole welp that’s your problem now. I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently they worked and most of all they were just good people. Will be using them again for additional needs.
Your feedback means the world, Tim Tietz. At College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving SW Ft. Worth, we love offering flexible hourly services to fit your needs—whether that’s loading, unloading, or packing up boxes. We’re glad we could help.
