In their own words
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! Beth, the local franchise owner, was an absolute NIGHTMARE to talk to. She consistently blamed me for an error that the call agent made when booking my call. The calls are recorded and she proudly told me that she PARTIALLY listened to the conversation and refused to refund my money. I am an Army service member and veteran that have items to be moved that are time sensitive and this company completely wasted my time & stole my money.
Leah Alexis, We’re so sorry to hear about your recent experience with our services. We would like to hear more about your experience in greater detail if you could please contact us at [phone removed] when you have a moment.
Absolutely horrible experience, my move in that I had booked over a month in advance got cancelled less than 24hrs prior to the date because they had other moves after mine. Told me that if they’re not done within the time frame that THEY had given me they would drop all my things and leave. After asking me all the questions the day I had booked my slot to see how much time they would need to get the job done they told me that they would not have time due to the other reservations they had during the day and put…
Tahissa, We are truly sorry about your experience, although it should be noted that we reached out several days in advance of your move to express our concerns about your job. As soon as we realized the information provided for your job was not accurate and that it would likely take longer than…
Had a move that took less than an hour, was only notified that movers would be late to my house 20 minutes before they were supposed to be there, was told they’d be about an hour late. They actually showed up 2 hours late and charged me a full $248. One of the men repeatedly used a term that is harmful to disabled people. When I sent a complaint, the response was essentially “oh well. We’re not going to do anything about it.” They don’t care about professionalism or people’s time.
Ashley Cendere, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience with our services. We’d like to talk to you about this privately and in more detail so that we can hopefully rectify the situation. Please don’t hesitate to contact our management team at [phone removed].
Reviews are not accurate. Their summary shows all 5 ratings, but if you go through them you will see different. I checked this after I tried calling them. The first time I called they hung up on me after waiting on hold. The second time I called they starting asking me questions that did not relate to my move. I only wanted a quote for loading a moving truck. Very unprofessional, if a company at all. This may be a scam.
Roger Alphonse, we truly apologize for the frustration you felt when our call agent asked whether you were referred to College HUNKS by another organization. This information is pertinent to apply any eligible discounts and obtain the best rate possible for your job.
Booked them 3 months ago Called me the day before the move letting me know that they would not be able to do it and that they would reimburse me. Do not waste your time with this company

In their own words
We’re in the process of remodeling the master bath on the 2nd floor of our home. Several large and heavy items arrived (60” vanity, barn doors, shower doors, etc) and I wondered how I was going to get them upstairs. I called College Hunks and explained the situation and for a very reasonable price had an appointment scheduled. Communication prior to appointment was excellent. On appointment day, I received a call from movers giving me an ETA.

We used College Hunks for our move recently, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Our crew, Bobby, Todderick, Bryson, and Danny, were incredible. They showed up on time, were extremely professional, and handled everything with so much care. They took the time to properly wrap and protect our furniture, worked efficiently, and made the process smooth and easy. They were friendly, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work.

My wife and I recently purchased our first home in Tallahassee, FL and were scheduled to move in on 05/01/2026. Unfortunately, it started FLOODING rain about 30 minutes after the movers arrived and started working. I wasworried our things would get wet/ruined as it rained for 6 hours…. Jimmy, Josh, and Mike didn’t let that happen! They made sure everything was wrapped properly, loaded effectively, and transported without issues.

I recently had the pleasure of working with College H.U.N.K.S. for both junk removal and moving services, and I can't express how easy and stress free the entire process was! After living in my home for over 16 years, I had accumulated quite a pile of old stuff that I wanted to get rid of, in addition to needing reliable movers. From the moment I called, the agent was incredibly helpful and friendly.
Glad we were able to help, Terrance White! We always strive to provide the best experience for our customer’s junk removal and moving needs and are extremely pleased to see this was the case for you.
