I will start off with the positive- the guys were nice. But, very unprofessional operation! Guys were not in uniform which the U in HUNKS apparently stands for uniform. The guys reeked of weed. Ruined a chair because they did not wrap it, a lampshade was demolished and the footboard of our bed gained some dents. I reached out several times thru texts and email. Sent photos. No one ever called to discuss. They credited us $100 which isnt enough to repair or replace a single item.

This is a very unreliable and unprofessional business. The reviews fooled me. I had a small amount of items to be taken away, and I scheduled my appointment online for 5:30 PM today. This morning, I received two phone calls from two different numbers for this group. They each said that their time availability had moved up and would I like to get an earlier time. Both times, I said no because I work and would not be home at the earlier time.

Be warned of damage from movers! The college hunks team helped me move on June 28th. David and his crew were friendly and acted professional during the entire move. However, the team ripped a hole in our couch that was not damaged prior to the move. I immediately reached out to submit a claim and the team has been extremely difficult to get in touch with and had not returned any calls. It has now been over 3 weeks and they still have not made this right.

Do NOT use College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. From the start, communication was terrible, they were disorganized, and the whole process felt chaotic. They did not handle things the way a professional moving company should. Moving is already stressful, and they made it 10x worse. I expected reliability and basic professionalism, and I got neither. Save yourself the headache and find another company.

Called for an estimate and they will try to hard sell you. They won’t provide quotes over phone and want to come out to house with truck just to provide quote, then proceed to hard sell on getting you on their schedule you even after you tell them no. I decided not to use them based on this behavior. After call, now constantly getting spam calls and texts daily, even after not using them for services.

Have used College Hunks several times in the past with no issues, but recent move/donation pick up was very disappointing. Items were lost, furniture was not correctly reassembled and not all requested donation items were taken. Will not be using College Hunks again after this experience.

Came to my house on time and packed us very efficiently! Took under 3 1/2 hours to pack a 3200 sf house. Hit the road for 4 hours and unpacked us. Highly highly record College Hunks. Very personable and friendly movers. Would 100% recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Wow, what can I say. These guys are amazing. I had floors being taken up and new floors installed. They wrapped up and moved all the furniture, piano and boxed small items. Packed them all in another part of the home so they would not be damaged or subject to dust. Once all the floors were done,, they put everything back. Timely and worked with the other crews in the home seamlessly. I would recommend these hunks whether you are doing a job like mine or a move to another location.
