The rating breakdown
9 of the 46 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Congressional Piano Movers are one or two star.
Worked out from 46 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.

Be sure you get a copy of their insurance coverage and confirm it's valid. Sara used their insurance coverage as a selling point to using them vs a house mover. We trusted them with our heirloom family piano and somewhere between pickup, warehouse storage, and delivery it was lost/damaged. They delivered a piano (with a broken soundboard) weeks later than scheduled as a comparable replacement while trying to convince me it was indeed my piano (I have my piano's serial number to refute their claim).
On May 1nd I made a reservation To have my piano picked up tomorrow Friday between 9:00 and 1:00 p.m.. I gave my name my address the address of the pickup we talked about price I talked about paying and cash versus check or credit card and proceeded to make an appointment and confirm my reservation and I was told by the lady making the reservation that you would call me today Thursday in the afternoon with the pickup window for tomorrow between 9:00 and 1:00 to make it more narrow so the owner of the piano would…
I am sorry for your confusion on what company you hired as you admitted that you even accidentally called another company also thinking you hired them. Just a shame that you have to make things up and bash family businesses for your own … More
Booked appointment three weeks in advance to have upright piano moved from main floor of home to basement. Was given price and service window at booking. Took day off work for the appointment.Called to confirm near end of service window, was told that “truck broke” and they might have to cancel the service. I explained it was a move of the piano within the same residence, so no truck was needed. Was told they would check with the driver and call me back.
Responding again with my one-star review because of a company that does not know how to save reservations on their own computer and admitted it to me repeating well mistakes happen. Venue twist my words here on your reply trying to make me …
Despite booking a month in advance, the day of the move they said they could pick up but couldn’t actually deliver the piano until midday the next day. We had already used a vacation day to manage the move and had plans in a different city …
I am sorry for the inconvenience, but for the record you had told us that it was fine to pickup one day and deliver the next. We were unaware that it didn’t work for you because you had said that it was no problem.
they are literally delivering this piano at 6:15 AM!!!!! who does that?? who gets people up at this hour when kids have to go to school and people have to go to work????? i have NEVER heard of 6:15 delivery!!

Man oh man! These guys are excellent! They were quick and efficient! Before them, I had hired a company that "knew" how to move pianos and didn't even know how many guys it would take/what to do. THIS company and guys were the exact opposite...they were professional and knew how to maneuver around the piano...and move the piano. We have a baby grand and their efficiency and hospitality put me instantly at ease! I highly recommend them! Seriously...don't even look anywhere else...these guys are the ish! (also...
Five stars! We loved their reliability, prompt and exact communication, and work ethic. Even in muddy conditions they were able to get the baby grand piano into our living room with no issues. Thank you!!! I recommend them without hesitation and would use them again immediately.
This is a great company!! We couldn’t believe how quickly they moved in our full size upright piano, they were careful not to damage anything in the process. Would definitely recommend!
If I had to move another piano, I would definitely use this company. Fair price. Responsive.
