Avoid this company! We hired the company last summer to move all furniture from our house to another city. Their quote is relatively cheaper and they were the only company has a semi at that time. We chosen the company as we had a lot to move. It turns out a total disappointment. 1. The quoting staff is unprofessional. All the good was estimated originally as 5000lbs. When the semi arrived, there is only 20% space left. We end up with dropping one bed, one desk & one sofa as they cannot fit. 2.
Beware of Scam!!! Stay away from this company and Allied!!! They quoted me for less than a $1 per lb. When the actual weight was lower than their quote, they charged me $1.39 per lb stating that the lower weight costs more! and of course they kept the load hostage to the payment. This was a total scam. The driver and the movers were quite nice and professional but the company is clearly a scam. I would recommend everyone to stay away.
We try to provide accurate estimates based on what you are actually moving. Yes the lower the weight will result in reduced charges but not at the exact rate of the quoted weight, just the same as if the weight increases your rate will continue to go down per lb.
I was disappointed with the service. I was moving cross country and they packed everything up really well but then delivered it by another company. There were chip marks on some of the furniture and white rub marks on other pieces. There is also a box missing. So the amount of money paid didn’t equate to first rate service all the way. I packed and moved my own stuff the first time I moved and only had one piece get a rub mark and there were no boxes missing
We had this company move an old piano for us. While the process was smooth, we noted afterwards that there was a gouge out of the door frame. It was disappointing they would not accept responsibility.

These guys are the best in the business. They were punctual, quick, careful, and have great communication. They were on time for both pick up and drop off. Also, they didn’t lose or break anything. They were well organized and very friendly. I wish I could remember their names because I would name them here. Great company. Would definitely use them again if I need it.
Made our first cross-country move from Saskatchewan to Vancouver Island recently and chose to use Country Wide Moving & Storage. Very glad we made this choice as the team of professionals made the process a very good one. During a potentially very stressful time, the entire team were very professional and organized. Janelle who coordinated the process is very approachable and did a great job organizing the move. The packing crew were great as they carefully packed and organized our possessions very well.
Moved from Saskatoon to Winnipeg by myself and needed some furniture shipped over. I worked with Janelle, the Relocation Coordinator, for pricing and booking my move and she was always easily reachable by phone or email and helped make my process very straightforward and smooth! Brian, the operations manager, was also on top of my shipment and letting me know when my stuff would arrive in Winnipeg (took about 2 weeks from pick up on May 28th to drop off on June 10th as it was a consolidated shipment).
We received a handful of quotes regarding our move from SK to AB; very similar pricing from all. Country Wide was the only company that reached out to do a virtual quote which was very much appreciated during these weird times. It was quick and easy and Janelle was great to deal with. She answered all of my questions and concerns in a very timely manner. On packing day, the crew showed up on time and did a fantastic job. Answering any questions I had and asking me some along the way.
