Not happy at all. Had things broke. They had excuses for everything I complained about. Price was way higher than what they quoted me. We moved many times with different moving companies and this was the worst.

I moved long-distance with the company storing my life's belongings for 9-months. An expensive process. Many items were missing and not delivered. Sentimental, practical and personal belongings. I was super disappointed and frustrated with the service.

To begin with, the actual cost for the move was over 50% higher than the estimate they gave me. Interestingly, when the moving team came out and walked through the house with me, the lead mover commented that he wasn't sure this would all fit in the truck and this is way more than 7,000 lb which was quoted by the owner of the business. If he knew it from that quick of a walkthrough, then the owner who created the quote knew it too and just chose to give me a lowball offer. That's my opinion anyway.

Initial estimate was one price, then day of pick-up (when you have no other options), the price increased more than fifty percent of original quote. Received an email regarding the increase in price (Bill of Lading). However, no one responded. Contacted the office, and was advised my issue would be passed along, and someone would get back with me. However, no one reached out. I didn't plan to write a review. However, I continued to receive emails requesting that I post a review on Google.

I have nothing but high praise for Craig Van lines. From the the initial assessment, the quote, packing and the delivery of my things. Everyone that I worked with was prompt, professional, and handled my household goods with respect and care. The Packers were efficient and the people who did the move to my new location was so friendly and so efficient as well. I used Craig Van Lines to completely move my entire large house belongings from Virginia to Alabama. Excellent service from start to finish. On time. Paid what was quoted. No last minute fees or charges. Always dealt with human employees, not brokers, answering machines, bots, and no-nothing salesmen. Family run business. Highly recommended.
