Cubeit Portable Storage - Calgary

Would rate 0 stars if I could. This company has been disappointing in every way imaginable and has neglected to address my concerns. I rented a bin and upon receiving it, I discovered that it had several leaks and water was pooling inside the container. Had it not have been raining when I received it and I had moved my things in there and then it had rained, my belongings would have been destroyed. These bins are marketed as waterproof when in fact they are not.

I absolutely wouldn't even give them 1 star. They threw a storage bin in front of our house about 10 feet from where it was supposed to be placed. We have one parking spot no garage and 2 babies. Which we now have to park down the block in order to get to our house. We asked them to move it to where it's supposed to be and they said only the homeowners can authorize it the homeowners called and said move it they still won't.

I tried to book a cube here for a garage renovation. The Cubeit employee assured me I'd receive a same-day callback to verify whether the date I requested would be secured. Several days passed and still no callback, so I called them. They told me they would have the rep who initially booked my cube call me that day for an update. I received no call for several days. Since the date I requested was only 4 days away at that point, I went with another company and cancelled with Cubeit.

I have made a reservation on Jan 25, with delivery and pick up dates all set up, today, got a call from Cubeit saying they will increase the price for more than $900 since oil price increase even though I confirmed my reservation a month ago already. would you dare to use this company for long distance transportation which is one of the most important part throughout your moving. Following up: Cubeit's manager has reached to me and gave me a small compensation as apoligize.

Cubit works great with renovations. Only thing is bin rentals are for four weeks. Weekly rental rates would be nice. Overall great experience and friendly staff. Unfortunately after all said and done originally I had given this review 5 stars. However after weeks of calling and no return phone calls. Their accounting department blamed the employee for responding the way they did on their review team. Their administration team was notified about declining the offer by the accounting team.

I would give them zero star if I could! I review different services on google and you can check I usually give 5 stars, I am not a picky one, but my experience with their customer service couldn’t be worse. I reserved a cube online, the customer service called me exactly one minute after! She asked for my credit card, I told her I need to check the street permit first before I finalize my reservation but she told me to put the card in and she would call me the day after, before she charge the credit card to make…

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Everything started out well with the initial delivery, but that quickly changed. As we got closer to the pickup date, I contacted the company to double check what all payments would be coming out of my account. I was told one thing, and then there were additional charges taken out of my account outside of what was discussed. When I called to inquire about this, I was given the runaround, they had to listen to the calls to be sure that I was telling the truth, and guess what? I was.

USE ANOTHER POD SERVICE.. They are not licensed to operate Canada wide. I hired them to store/deliver my belongings between the sale of my condo and purchase of a new house. When the time came to have them deliver the unit, I was informed they don't service the area I have moved to, which is only 1.5hrs from Calgary. It has been a nightmare dealing with Cubeit and I wish I read all the complaints + real reviews before hiring them.
