Worst Moving Experience Ever—AVOID AT ALL COSTS If I could give zero stars, I would. I've moved eight times in my life, and David's Moving Company is by far the worst I've ever encountered. 1. Total Disregard for Property: They showed no care for my belongings. During the move, they broke over $4,000 worth of items, put two holes in my brand new home, and scratched our new wood floor. 2. Unprofessional Behavior: The employees got into a literal fight in my front yard.
David Moving Co/North American Van Lines would like to apologize again for your experience with us, after being in business for over 70 years, clearly this is not the norm. The employee that was being unprofessional on your move, has been let go and we do apologize for his actions.
Outstanding packing, moving & unloading team. Couldn't have been more careful, accommodating & efficient. Equally customer-service oriented office staff for: quote, scheduling & followup. I don't easily award highest recommendations, but David is definitely deserving. Intrastate 224 mile move.

I normally do not do a survey. But this one I have to. The packing of the house was very good. It was the loading that I was horrified. Just no respect for my property. As it’s being delivered now we see the damage it has caused in the unloading process. Just a sad day!
North American Van Lines, is very sorry for not having the drivers/trucks, during these very trying times, with the loading and unloading of your shipment. Once you have completely unloaded and unpacked, give us a call and North American will handle your claim.

Although I gave them short notice, David Moving Co was very responsive to my needs. I had originally utilized a local moving company that left me in a bind in the last minute. David Moving Co packers were thorough and efficient and extremely courteous. The movers were on time and careful with my belongings both in the loading and unloading process. They truly went above and beyond and took the stress out of the moving process. I would definitely use them again.

We used David Moving Company for our move from Baton Rouge to Shreveport. Love love loved the experience from beginning to end! Jennifer came out to our home to assess what would be moved and gave us a quote within a few days. After we received a quote and booked our moving date on the calendar, we were given ‘free pickings’ of various sized boxes. My husband had brought home an abundance of boxes on his first trip.
Thank you so much for spending the time for the "review". Most of our customers call and express what a great and careful move they had with us but very few will take the time out of their very busy lifes, especially your with a new born, to sit down and write and send one.
My experience with David’s Movers was superb. The guys carefully wrapped all of my furniture to protect it from any damage. They were very polite and friendly and my whole family was impressed with their work. My storage room was piled to the ceiling and it was quite challenging to get my things out of there without damaging them and they did a fantastic job! Another perk with David’s Movers was that the price per hour they quoted me from the beginning was the price at the end of my move.
