Daytime Movers

DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS MOVING COMPANY. Please spend your money more wisely & choose another moving company. I am prior 8 years military and this by far is the absolute worse moving company I’ve ever dealt with. Extreme lack of accountability and lack of care for your household goods. Crew is very unprofessional and argumentative. 1.Crew arrived 30 mins late after 2 hour window. 2. Was told crew would dissemble and reassemble bed sets. Crew arrived with absolutely no tools at all.

Very poor experience, and owner, Thomas Lewis, added insult to injury by not caring and returning my calls. Here the "highlights": - One of the movers smelled like weed, and was totally spaced out (I am not the first one to notice that in the reviews). The all seemed asleep in the morning. - As a result, they did not understand properly what needed packing at walk through.

I was really excited about my moving day. I thought this would be a great moving company but it turned out to be the worse. They did not help move all of my stuff out of my apartment. I tried to not let that bother me. I waited about 10 mins for them to get to my new home. Be mindful, they left about 10mins before I did. I was STILL trying to get my stuff out of my old apartment. Well, while they were moving my stuff into my new place, they broke a large drink vase.

I used this company for my move and they worked well. I gave their number to my daughter who specializes in move management and design and would be a great referral source for them. Unfortunately, she recommended them shortly thereafter. The movers never showed to move them. The client was pregnant and you can imagine the stress and strain that occurred. Between my daughter and myself, we made numerous calls, left messages and somehow I found a cell number that took me to the owner.

I had placed a deposit with this company to perform a move, and then canceled less than a week later. I was promised that my deposit would be refunded in a timely manner. It has now been three weeks, and they still have not refunded the deposit. I worked with Tony, and while he was polite and professional on the phone, the failure to follow up, and do what they said they would do seems to be indicative of many of the other reviews. Use caution if you are considering this company for a move.

Let me first say, the actual movers were courteous, respectful, and hardworking. However, they were extremely young and inexperienced. One of them had only been doing this for 1month and the other a few months more. I had a one bedroom apartment, no living room furniture (e.g. sofas, end tables), one bed (no dressers), a 4 chair dinette set (already broken down), and a 7ft mirror... these were the BIGGEST Items to be moved. Everything else was boxed labeled and ready to go.

I not gonna say they were horrible, I let you decide. They were on time and were fast. The movers were cool, but they were more concerned with the size of their tip than anything else. They came with NO boxes and no tools, not even scissor's. I hired Daytime Movers to move my household goods from one residence to another. The move went well, except for my 55 inch Samsung 4K TV being damaged. The picture on the TV is completely distorted.

First of all I am very confused about these people. I booked movers through thumbtack from a company listed as "Unlimited Movers". After speaking with someone on the phone I agreed to a deposit of $89. That was listed on my credit card from a company called "All In One". Then Daytime Movers shows up on our moving day. Very confused on who I was hiring. When they were loading up the truck my husband asked them to please wrap our mattress (we even had wrap for them to use) they did not wrap it.
