I had Delaney Moving and Storage move my household furnishings to storage units last October. In spite of good reviews and a decent reputation, my experience was terrible. When I moved my furniture from storage units to my new home last week, it was apparent that the Delaney moving crew had failed to wrap the dining room chairs and numerous other solid wood items that were severely damaged during the offload.
Our goal is to provide an excellent moving experience for all our customers. We're very disappointed that you were dissatisfied with your move. Quality customer service and doing business with honesty and integrity are extremely important to us.
The movers that packed our items for an international move were so terrible they should find a new career because even after attempting to tell them breakables needed packaging they did not listen. Detailed concerns were expressed and I was assured that the breakable items would be repacked accordingly. In fact, they sent a foreman to oversee the later part of the day and I pointed out the boxes with breakables and talked to the foreman who assured me they would repack at their warehouse with the level of care…

On Friday, April 10, 2015 my husband was home to receive our new mattress/box spring set from JCP. Delaney movers came and set up the set but told my husband that pickup old bedding was not included. The man look at a sheet of paper and said, "no it's not on here to pick up bedding". He took them at their word. I arrived home later that evening and saw the bedding and said it's on the receipt/order sheet from JC Penny to remove.
Through United Van Lines we were connected with Delaney for a move from Syracuse to Southeastern PA the end of August. They were all very polite and very fast. The speed however came with the sacrifice of care of my belongings. Some things were chipped, broken, scratched but the biggest issue was a large piece of custom cut glass that goes on top on my heirloom kitchen table. It was wrapped in a bunch of comforters. It never made it to the destination.

Best professional movers!! With COVID, we had Art Delaney via remote portal took us through the house to provide estimate for moving from a suburban house to lake house in remote Adirondack. We were assigned with a move coordinator, Cheryl Hall. She kept us in the loop and very responsive. While movers were packing our house in Manlius, she called to make sure they were on time and courteous.

Can you say your move was uneventful and easy as pie? Use Delaney and you too can make this claim. We moved our entire small office and warehouse, which meant over 10 offices (with furniture) 30-40 pallets, 50 file cabins and complete Parts Department. Delaney did this with incredible speed and efficiency. AND under budget and less time than the original estimate. Outstanding customer service. Outstanding people. Outstanding company to work with.

I used this agency for my job when we had to move two clinical programs to a new floor with strict regulations. We had a transition of point person during this move and this company was completely understanding and extremely helpful when it came to what was previously discussed and making adjustments as needed. The president came onsite to complete this discussion and the team of staff they sent for the move was easy to work with and efficient. This company took a major stress of moving and made it easy and fun.

We were very apprehensive about using a professional moving company because we had heard about so many bad experiences. Our experience with Delaney was absolutely top notch in every aspect. They are experienced professionals who added a wonderful personal touch to our dealings. Art provided many helpful hints that made the packing process easier for us. He came back and did a second inventory when we were concerned about adding to the original unit counts.
