This is going to be a bit long, so bear with me here. These guys are massively overpriced and damaged a bunch of my furniture (mainly my brand new $800 bed) and then "accidentally" overcharged me an extra hundred dollars (which they did refund when I noticed), after I had to hear from their 2 movers who wrecked my stuff that I didn't tip them enough. So, here's how this whole thing went down: I was moving out of state, so I ordered 2 U-Pack containers myself and picked up an enclosed 5x8 uhaul trailer.
Cory this was an hourly rated service. I have minute my minute tracking on everything. You were on an upper floor, with a nice walk to the containers. Loading takes longer than unloading and you know this.
Rebecca is not professional at all. I reserved the date and gave her all of my information. When I called a few days later to give a deposit, she was unable to "find" all of my information and asked me to call back at a later date. When I inquired about disposal of furniture, she emailed me stating they could just "leave it by a dumpster for a "scavenger" to pick up".
Patti. You wanted us to dispose of some old furniture, I gave you a price to remove and dispose of them, you declined. I offered for them to put it out by the dumpster at either apartment complex as this is how most every other customer that lives in a complex gets rid of unwanted items.
Positive people, and very good with my stuff. I was very unhappy about the price considering the small amount of items I had. I did not have a mattress or box spring, nor any major furniture. My biggest item was a 5 drawer dresser that is no more than 4 feet tall. It took the two *kind* men less than two hours in total to pack up the truck from my storage unit and drive it up to Liverpool. I was charged over $500 in total, which was not what I had been told they charge.
I am very sorry you are unhappy about the price. You were quoted a 3 hours minimum with travel over the phone, and sent a confirmation email stating the same. I am not sure how this could be confusing, or misinterpreted. We never try to mislead anyone in any way.
This company is Heartless taking a dead womens $500 deposit because she wasn't able to call within there 5 day cancelation policy. My mother hired this company to move her stuff out of storage into a house which she was in the process of closing on. The morning of her closing she hit her head having a massive head bleed then dieing 10 days later in the hospital. When I called asking for her deposit back . I was told they were sorry and it was with out of the 5 days Cancel policy.
This is without a doubt, the worst moving experience i have ever had. it took the two men that came, 7 hours to make a move that should have taken tops 3 hours. Their excuse for having no extra boxes or tape was that their truck broke and they had to rent one. I don't think this moving company owns a truck, since that is the excuse given to another client according to the reviews. The man in charge of the move had a small clue as to what to do, but his helper was clearly highly inexperienced and lacked training.
I think what really happened is that you were not ready to move. It takes longer to move loose items than packed items. If you needed boxes and help packing you should have let me know so that I could have sent them with it.
The lady that picked up the phone has very little patience and understanding. Poor customer service representative. Needs training or another occupation.

I don't generally write reviews but this time I had to. Best and easiest moving experience I've EVER had. Most moving companies have left me on edge and stressed. This was not the case with Soliman movers. The woman who booked me was very friendly and compliant with my requests. I am a very picky person who likes things done right the first time. I used Soliman Movers to help me move a full apartment to Boston. I had a very small window of time to move my things. They came on time and ready to work.

Soliman Movers are the only movers I will ever use. After using other movers that resulted in damage or missing items, working with Soliman has been a game changer. Recently I moved my 85 year old aunt to a senior living apartment and she was quite apprehensive about moving (last time she did was 39 yrs ago). Soliman made the move smooth, nothing was damaged, everything arrived, they were patient as we organized the rooms and their were beyond friendly. She was impressed and very appreciative as was I.

Used this company many years ago with a great experience. So when I moved to a senior apartment after my husband passed away, it made sense to used them again. They were as good as if not better than before. They took care of everything in a timely, fast, professional and caring way for a very reasonable price. Definitely consider them for your move.
Soliman Movers are awesome!! From the first phone contact through the moving truck pulling away at the end of the day, my experience with them was excellent! Rebecca is kind, friendly, and so helpful! She made the process of hiring movers so easy! She talked me through everything , answered all my questions, and kept up appropriate contact throughout the move time. She was able to schedule us quickly and sent us a GREAT team of guys to work with.
