By entrusting my move to this company, I had no idea I'd just made a mistake. On November 12th, laborers with the IQ of a geranium showed up late at my door. Part of the packing was done with used bubble wrap, full of glue residue. Imagine the result: packages stuck together. The blankets were dirty. I discovered dishes haphazardly stacked under cans of food.
Hello Mr. Villeneuve, We have received your message. Your move took place on November 12, 2024. We were unaware of the damage you reported until today. We have tried to reach you by phone three times without success. We have also sent three emails without success.
Extremely expensive, wrong information, damaged property they didnt own up to, and being threatened with suing me if I posted a bad review. Will never hire them again Never gave me clear information as to how the storage would be calculated (ended up paying 2 weeks more than other places). Piled up heavy cartons on top of light ones and found some of my stuff crushed. When i complained, I was told that it was my fault for not checking in 24 hours if things were broken.

I used Andee Moving about eight months ago without any major issues, so I decided to use them again for my move. Unfortunately, this time the experience was truly disappointing. I had a storage unit in Shawville, I live in Fort-Coulonge, and I was moving to Gatineau. Their email indicated they would be there between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. A long time window, but it was fine for me: I had things to prepare in my storage unit and I could wait.
Want to lose your furniture and have it damaged when you arrive? They're perfect for you! Horror story with a haystack moving company! Almost all our furniture was damaged; it had survived five previous moves... They scratched all our teak furniture, ripped a vintage leather loveseat, and dented the stove. Plus, we're missing a filing cabinet and several boxes! The worst bunch of idiots you could ever deal with, you've been warned... P.S.: No relation to me! Thank goodness!
I had a very bad experience. A team that wouldn't do any effort, claiming they couldn't assemble a piece of furniture before even seeing the place, and a boss who had no control over his workers. Mr. Bélair's promises were broken. In short, a very bad experience. In response to Mr. Bélair's comment, I would like to add that as of today, two movers from "Select Moving" assembled the supposedly impossible-to-assemble piece of furniture.
I cannot understand your incomprehension regarding this situation, for an object weighing 250 pounds to be moved up a very narrow third floor, a fact confirmed to your employee and to you personally by me after I visited the premises.
Disappointing service, from the establishment of the contract (erroneous information, final cost much higher than expected - read all communications with them carefully and ask questions) to the move (damaged furniture, dirty protective blankets and mats).

After waiting three weeks for a call, nothing. They'll return my call without leaving a message. Do not do business with them between May 15th and August 15th.

We recommend them, but be vigilant to avoid unpleasant surprises. Good service, good price, but poor planning and management. The contract was confirmed well in advance. All the details were provided, but their digital platform was underdeveloped, so everything was done by phone. As a result, the information didn't reach the teams on site properly. They arrived without the necessary equipment to move some of the heavier items that had been identified, and without the experienced personnel required.

I recently used André Bélair Moving for a quick move, and they arranged it so I could have it done on the date and time I needed! The move was done by three professional and responsive guys, and in a more than satisfactory timeframe. I highly recommend them; the owner and employees are trustworthy! I waited all day and didn't get a call within the hours I was told they would come...
