Be careful when choosing this company they add time everywhere they can to increase $ amount. They moved my place for an active 4 hours but they charged me for 6 hours and 15 mins. It was in the contract that they would charge from moment they left the shop to moment they came back but they overcharged. They also disappeared with my things for 45 minutes. The girl that owns the place is VERY rude.
I don't usually write reviews, but we used Select Moving for our move. The movers were courteous, everything seemed to go smoothly, so when they mentioned the option to leave a tip, we gladly did. That is, until we entered a room and realized that the bottom of one of our pieces of furniture was broken. The damage was obvious; the broken piece was lying on the floor, and the furniture itself was leaning against the floorboards.
We moved on June 12, 2025. When we finished unpacking our boxes, we realized one box was missing. It contained a brand new pantsuit, several pairs of pants, and several vests. When we called to report the loss, they stupidly said they weren't responsible and hung up on us. There was no way to speak to them, even though I lost approximately $600 worth of clothing and more. This is how Select Moving handles losses. Bravo!
We are sorry to hear about your loss. I have tried several times to gather information about it. After a thorough analysis (checking the truck, security cameras, and our warehouse), we found nothing.
An employee interfered in a dispute between two neighbors. His job is to handle moves without interfering in other people's affairs. It was impolite of him. I do not recommend this company because of its unprofessional employees.

We moved in may 2026, happy to support the local compant, on time, and on budget. 2 Men in uniform, in a marked company truck. I would happily call them again. We mostly used them for the bigger items moving our 4 1/2, doing the prep work myself. Great work guys! Only thing I would change would be a confirmation email the day before from the company more for peace of mind(people quit, trucks break down, would just be nice to know) they did a curticy call 45mins before showing up (appreciated very much).

We were extremely satisfied with our move with Demenagement select! They were extremely efficient, professional and careful with our valuables. They were a strong team and were able to move our heaviest furniture without any damage. They were also very friendly and polite, providing great customer service! My family and I highly recommend Select Movers! We are in the U.S., but our daughter attends uOttawa and needed help moving out of her dorm and into a townhouse. They were on time, efficient, entertaining and careful with all of her belongings. We will definitely be using them again.
