The movers had no masks on. They barely protected my furniture with blankets. Many dents and scratches on my furniture. Missing many items. I don't recommend this company. Yet I had used them last year and they were flawless. They took many smoke breaks and lunch and charged me for it at $115.00 per hour.
I do not recommend this company. The company's employees demanded a $300 ransom for an item they deemed too heavy, otherwise they would leave it in the middle of a condo building hallway. During the initial quote, I clearly stated that the item was heavy and even sent a photo. The owner offers no apology for his employees' attempted scam and even claims that other companies do the same. The price is exorbitant, and the company does not comply with consumer protection policies.
Your item in question is above an 8-foot-long granite kitchen countertop that needs to be moved to the second floor. During the initial quote, we only discussed kitchen cabinets; you never mentioned the granite countertop, which weighs a ton.
AVOID THIS MOVING COMPANY!! For the move of a small 5 1/2 apartment in Montreal with few large items (no large wardrobe or bed), the three movers took over 11 hours. It was quite hot, but only one of the three was actually working, and the other two were barely doing anything. We even had to do part of the move ourselves to finish before 10 p.m. In the end, the bill was double the initial estimate. So we called Stéphane, the owner, to complain, and he started raising his voice!
Mr. Duée, in our defense, I could say that it was a sweltering day. You had a five-and-a-half-room apartment, you were moving from a third-floor apartment to a third-floor apartment, the truck was a 26-footer, and it was filled to the brim.
I used their services in December. On the phone, they seemed professional. However, during the move, they were over two hours late, which cost me extra since I had to pay a building superintendent for the move. The movers weren't wearing masks and left all my plants in the hallway with the door open. As a result, about ten plants froze to death. Furthermore, my partner, who owned exactly half of my belongings (due to a separation), paid significantly less for a similar move. In short, I wouldn't use them again.
Hello Ms. Bergeron, During your move, you weren't in Canada; your parents were there. You wanted to move in the afternoon, but our standard moving hours are between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM. The arrival time depends on the first move of the morning. We called to let you know we would be late.
Disrespectful to its customers. Disrespectful to its own employees. This company provides low quotes and then adds numerous extras to inflate the bill. My goal is to warn consumers before they get an unpleasant surprise. I encourage you to look at their invoice (bill of lading). There are five blank lines labeled "OTHER EXTRA..." It's clear that this is a common practice for this company.
We move over 250 clients a year, and they are satisfied with our service. When booking, we ask clients if they have any heavy furniture. Regarding your eight-foot granite piece that needed to be carried up to the second floor, another moving company wouldn't have left it there, but we did it even…
I'm writing a review because of all the great reviews out there. I chose this company based on these reviews and it seems I unfortunately didn't have the same experience at all. First of all, I called them to see if there would be a charge for my upright piano. Since, it's an electrical piano, it has less weight then a typical piano. I told them the weight was 270 pounds. The person, Michel which I believe is the owner, told me there would be no problem at all.
From the start you were talking in a very mean and arrogant manner to the movers. You knew very well that normally there is an additional charge for a piano and a marble table, but you told us that you have an electric piano, an organ and a small, not heavy table, so it is on that basis.
Unacceptable service, inflated bill, and no follow-up. I moved out on June 1st and filed a complaint the very next day. I had to call them myself on June 11th, and I was simply told that everything would be forwarded to the manager. It's now June 19th, and I still haven't received a response. On moving day, they were an hour and a half late, and initially, they were very polite and professional, but when we left the apartment so they could meet us at the new one, they took an unexplained two hours longer, even…
We were very disappointed. There were nine of us helping three movers. Everything was packed and ready to go. While our loved ones were actively moving, the movers were sluggish and slow. We even saw one of them sleeping during the allotted hours. Several items were dropped and damaged. The company was informed, the movers apologized and admitted to being tired, but no compensation was offered. Despite your courteous and friendly staff, this lack of efficiency was not worth the price.

We had two moving experiences with this company, one week apart. For our first move, we had a truly professional team! Stéphane's team was very fast, hardworking, and meticulous! They were very courteous and focused on their task. The day before the move, we received a confirmation call, and then the evening after the move, we received another call to make sure everything had gone smoothly. Unfortunately, Stéphane's team wasn't available for our second move. We had a less pleasant experience this time.
