I had a storage there 3 years ago when I was homeless so I had to go once a week to get stuff from my unit . Unfortunately I didn’t have a pleasant experience, the guy there would always walk up to me and ask how long I would be staying for and he made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to get stuff out of my own storage unit which usually I was pretty in and out and he came off very racist , the minute I drove in he would pass by on his golf cart over and over to make me feel awkward I guess and I never felt…

This is the worst place to go. They have rats damaging and infesting all belongings. Aside from that the people at the front are horrible people if you have colored skin do not enter this place. You will not be treated well.

I had called a week in advanced and made a reservation for a unit. Over the phone an employee named Robert had told me that they would have a unit ready for me on my date I requested. Over the phone he was very unprofessional. He didn’t know what he was doing. I said don’t you want to write down my name sir. He said oh yeah. I told him my name and he said that everything was fine and we were all set to go. When I got there on the date I reserved he said they don’t have a unit. They tried to up sale me.
If you are late they will not take a payment over the phone. I use the storage because I have to work out of town and we downsized to a smaller place. I thought it would be convenient. It is not. I just had a lady tell me that she has to do the paper work when it's late, in a very rude manner. Made me cry and I don't cry. So upset right now I want to switch units. It shouldn't matter if you are late or not you should be able to pay over the phone or on line. You can't even pay on line if you are late.
Website talks about special pricing and half price off first month rent but when I went into the store I was told that only applies if they have a lot of available units. Per the onsite manager that doesn’t apply to this site because they are a max capacity

Not thrilled how with the flooding we couldnt go check our Rv, wouldn't even let us see on camera how bad it was, she just said come tomorrow we are pumping water. well today they decided not to answer phone. I think it is so rude, people …

We just started using Derrell storage Jo Beth and her husband are such outstanding people friendly and work with us but the blonde hair lady don’t know her name but she is rude and I’m talking down right rude we almost didn’t use your storage place because of her but if it hadn’t been for JoBeth and her husband we wouldn’t have please hire people who are trained and capable of doing there job I’m a retired nurse of 33 years and in all my years I have never been treated so badly as she did
