On January 2026 I received a call from the property manager stating that there wasn't a lock on my unit. I have been a customer since 2016 at this same property. Never had a issue. Now that its Devon Self Storage the cookie crumbles. The back lock to the unit was still in place but the front lock wasn't in place. I have never not secured my unit do to the business that I own. Went to property and saw that the lock wasn't there.

They tried a little to make some issues right but has never completed the corrections It was mostly server I have a little bit of stuff missing and my oven light …
This place is despicable… this establishment is unprofessional and a disgrace.. the people rude and tasteless i shall take my money elsewhere.

It states on door and website this location is open from 9AM until 5PM. Nobody was at the office. Nobody answered the phone. If you're not going to be open so potential clients can rent change your times on the door as well as online.

They should be ashamed of their selves. Charging outrages late fees. Once I'm done this go around with your services. I will never use or recommend your storage services every again.
Elder, it seems that you might some help regarding a fee that was charged on a past-due payment. If you suspect that the fee was incorrectly charged, please contact our customer service team with your space number and last name by calling [phone removed] or by visiting www.lifestorage.com/contact.
Had to throw out my sofa set. Bedbugs got to it and when I called that asked me do I still have the set. Other than that everything else was ok.
