Worst experience ever. Spoke to them on the phone Tuesday to book our apt for Thursday. The man on the phone was very helpful and nice and booked our move. They were suppose to arrive at 2:00. When 2:45 rolled around and nobody showed I called to see what was going on and had to leave a message. I recieved a call back shortly after from a really nice gentleman stating that hes not sure what happened but he'll find out and get back to me. That we were booked and they had recieved my deposit.
I scheduled Dr. Movers via email exchange. The movers never showed up and never replied to my follow-up emails, nor did they answer their phone when I called. Being that the phone number they list is a google voice number, it really makes me think this company not above board. We obviously will never be using them again, and we would not recommend anyone else us them either.
We did not verify your move nor did we collect a deposit. Looking through the correspondence there is no confirmation your move was booked. Calling to schedule your move will always be the best way to book a move. If a deposit is not paid your move will still be considered a lead.
We used this company less than six months ago and had a decent experience, so we hired them again. Unfortunately, this time was completely different. In December we paid approx $840 not including Cash tips and it took them approximately 5 hours and 1 trip to complete the move across town. This move was approximately $1400 and a mile up the road for the same items and took approx 8 hours and 2 trips! These were not the same guys as last time. We requested 3 movers but only had 2 for most of the job.
From the beginning we could tell that we were probably getting in over our heads on this. I booked Dr. movers 10 days prior to my move. We discussed the hourly ratethe one time service feeand the time the move was to start. This included a 50% off special for the first two hours of the move. Both parties confirmed the information and time on the Thumbtack app. Two days prior to our move I sent a message to that company to confirm our meeting for Saturday.

Used them once when moving from Texas to Wichita to unload a uhaul and they did a great job so I unfortunately made the mistake of hiring them again just recently they had 2 men show up late while on the clock I walked into the bedroom to see what was taking them so long to pick up a piece of furniture 1 of the guys was showing the other guy something on his phone while they were standing and visiting and I will just say he put his phone away quick when he saw me come around the corner then while moving my items…
Pretty good experience. Pay thru PayPal was a pain. They emailed me to reschedule my move 2 hours before the time but the move went well. The only issue is they didn’t stack the items into the unit properly so I had to climb over items and furniture to get to stuff. Also they want payment before they will unload the truck and the deposit before the move is non-refundable. They could do better on stacking the items into the 2nd location better instead of just throwing everything on a truck at random.
Break my end tables 250 and computer 700 try to sue the owner and wrong address was listed on web site when to the place and it was old person appt my hutch too cause 900 dollar still have video of them dropping my end table person said 600 in cash until job done did one truck take off had to hire other company to get it done
Daniel and Eric did a great job, very friendly, fast and efficient! Thank you for my moving needs. Update - a fragile box that was labeled and was dropped and I left a message for a resolution and have not received a call about a broke item.

In their own words
Movers were prompt, courteous, hard working and very careful with my stuff. They did a great job!
Great communication, a very fair price, and they were also flexible when I changed from Saturday to Friday on short notice. They arrived when they promised, and unloaded our POD quickly and efficiently. I would hire them for our next move without hesitation.
First of all, the two men that helped us move were amazing. Our move was far from easy. 3 flights of stairs, heavy furniture. Not once did they seem upset or annoyed. No damages, and they did a great job working things to fit up our awkward small stairway. I was so impressed! For the business side, the man I talked with over the phone was very helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The price was the best price I could find. I'm so thankful for Dr. Movers in helping us with our move!!
They were very professional, careful loading and unloading, and within the budget. I had 61 large boxes, 2 bedroom sets, 2 living room sets, a refrigerator, a desk, 2 large mirrors, 2 bicycles, 10 potted plants, all were handled with care and nothing was broken. They put 5 guys on the job and in 4 1/2 hours I was moved. At my new home, I had the boxes marked "kitchen, upstairs small bedroom, downstairs living room, etc." they put them all in the right rooms. This made unpacking much easier on me.
