Eco Movers Moving & Storage Tacoma

This has to be the worst experience I have ever had with a company. They overcharged me after giving me a set price over the phone, horrible communication in regard to my concerns and no real management or leadership so don’t expect anything if things go wrong during the move or if they raise the price after the job. One of the movers was smoking weed during the job which made him very slow and cost me to pay 2 hours for moving 3 items ONLY within a few miles distance.

I would not recommend this moving company. The movers were slow, careless, and clearly inexperienced. They didn’t bother using blankets or proper protection on all large furniture, which resulted in several damages: they scratched the top of our dresser, dented our end table, and scuffed our bar cart. They also ran furniture into the top of our garage, chipping the paint on the side of our house. Worst of all, they completely broke the keypad off our safe so we couldn’t even open it.

I’d give zero stars if I could. I’m so frustrated with eco movers. I got a quote in January and advised I would not have a move in date as my new place was not done being built yet, unfortunately my move date kept getting pushed out due to that and I was advised the rate would not change if I needed to change the date. They contacted me last week and told me just to contact them back when I had a date but failed to mention it I did this it would cancel the amount I was quoted previously.

Incredibly unprofessional and rude. When they reached out to me, I explained that I have a minimalist apartment with most of my stuff packed in boxes already to highlight that it should be an easy move for them. He replied “well, if you already have stuff packed in boxes, what do you need us for?” To which I had to explain again, (which I wouldn’t have had to if he had actually read my intake message) that I’m currently recovering from a concussion, and I didn’t know how much I would be able to do by myself ahead…

I’ve used this company before and had good experiences in the past, which is why I hired them again for a move with my wife and young son. Unfortunately, this time the service was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. During the move into our new apartment, the movers did not use floor protection or carpets, despite this being a clean, new space where our child would be walking barefoot. The movers walked through the apartment with visibly dirty shoes, which was frustrating and careless.

We just completed a move from Port Orchard to Renton and had a really bad experience with this company. 1. They didn't send enough movers for us. We had described in great detail our house and contents during the quoting process, however on moving day when the movers arrived - they informed us that the quoters had underestimated our move and didn't send enough guys (there were 3 guys sent) to complete the move in 8 hours.

SCAM ALERT!!! Where do I begin.....First, they chose to show up in a small truck, knowing it would take twice as long (all they had to do was move 15 items exactly 1 mile down a straight road) because two trips would need to happen. Second, they spent an hour chit chatting with each other and talking on their phones. Third, they damaged all my property. Fourth (and this is the big one), after the move they were paid in full. A week later, they are trying to bill me more which was never agreed to or promised.

After going through the house and the garage. I found expensive paintings just put anywhere. One was on a couch face up with things on top of it. One said expensive art, which was supposed to be put in the house, in a safe area. One was leaning against the wall with five other heavy items leaning on it. I had to do my own packing of the bathroom. Just too quick and not very respectful of my items.
