THE WORST MOVERS AND MANAGEMENT I CAN IMAGINE. RUN from this company. One of the two movers disappeared for more than a half hour. Then I walked in on him sitting on my toilet _NAKED_. When I called the company, after getting the run-around for hours, a manager said I was just upset because ‘men and women handle these things differently’. The owner of the company then accosted me on the street at my new apartment and threatened to call the cops on me for asking for a discount due to this inappropriate behavior.

UPDATED REVIEW Do not recommend this company. About a month after moving I started rearranging furniture and have noticed several areas of damage on my furniture that was either in the back of a nightstand that was placed against a wall, on the top corners of a bookshelf, dents on bookcase, and a busted back panel for an under bed drawer. I haven't been able to fully examine every piece of furniture so not sure if there is other damage.
Recently had a move with PNW moving. I’m giving them two stars because they showed up late, they were scheduled to be there between 8am-10am and got there around 1015 with no notice though I was supposed to have been sent a text when they were en route. When asked to wear shoe covers in the new house, they declined and said it “would add several hours” to the move. They scratched my kitchen table.
Had this moving company service 2 weeks ago. One of my furniture item got damaged. The movers saw the damage and accepted the responsibility, asked to contact the office. I paid the full amount for the service to the movers. I got a hold of the office same day, talked to Dmitriy - the owner of the company. He asked me to find a repair place and said he would send a check to a repair place.
First they were not able to make an appointment but gave a rather big range, such as afternoon from 12 to 5. Then the movers were young, inexperienced, and rather unprofessional; they broke one of my bookshelves, even after I warned them that it was on a flimsy side. I had these bookshelves many years, and they moved with me 3 times, and never got broken until now. In the reply below the company says how cheap this bookshelf was, what kind of an excuse is that!
We apologize your move didn’t go as expected. We give the arrival time of afternoon 12-3 arrival please do understand the team had a morning move. The crew arrived at 3:12. Then the crew got to work, bookcase which you stated was “flimsy” was made of particle board without a backing and support.
First - they took over 6 hours just to move 3 bedrooms. I had already fully packed everything; they destroyed a floor vent in my old place. Broke 2 lamps, spilled Clorox all over 3 boxes; failed to follow simple directions. Honestly all of the above I could maybe take - but these people decided halfway through the move (when they had all my stuff in their rented 15 foot U-Haul - they lied about it being 30 feet - and they don’t even own the truck) they went with all my stuff to take an hour lunch - and then…
We appreciate your feedback and want to clarify a few points. Contrary to your claim, we charged for a 5-hour move, as outlined in our contract, not the initial estimate of 6 hours and 45 minutes. The 30-minute lunch break is also monitored via a GPS-enabled app, ensuring accuracy.
I was working with Jim from here, doing a favor for a client who was out of town. I was meeting him out at the house to do a bid for a solid sized job, and he moved the bid to earlier in the day (I was totally fine with that as he gave me ample notice). I arrive at 11am, and wait for Jim until he calls me at 11:30 saying that he won’t be here until 12:30. I told him to cancel the appointment as we will be looking for help elsewhere. I’m extremely disappointed with this company.
I’m sorry to hear about your experience, however this is PNW Moving and Delivery based out of Tacoma. You were in contact with the company out of north Seattle (PNW Moving). We would love to service you, we have thousands of happy clients and would love for you to become one of them.
I called them and explained that my movers for the Sept 2nd bailed on me, and I needed help ASAP. They assured me they could move me on the 2nd and they will come out Friday to look at my house and give me a quote. They called me last night and said they can't move me now that someone took the 2nd. I was so upset. What is wrong with moving companies?! Why even booked a quote and tell me you have openings.
We apologize we were not able to move you on the date you requested. We schedule on site estimates when we have availability but cannot guarantee the day you want until you are booked. Once we know that the move day isn’t available (if that’s the case) we would contact you and offer you other days.

This company just does things right. It started with the first phone call I made, quickly answered by a woman who was knowledgable, friendly and incredibly helpful. A few emails followed with great advice for the move. We then got a visit from the estimator who was helpful and followed up quickly with an extremely fair price. The best part was meeting the team who did all the heavy lifting.
I strongly encourage you to use PNW for your move. I've moved a lot in the past, and PNW were the best in every way. They are super responsive, and come by to actually see for themselves what you have to move so there are no surprises in cost on the day of the move. Their price was very competitive to others, but you'll get much higher value from PNW. They were very careful in the move respecting your property and making every precaution to not damage your stuff.
Three days after my move, I am finally getting to this review. But I want to make sure Bryan and Malik receive their due. They were professional, personable, respectful, and resourcefully hard workers. They arrived on schedule and carefully accessed the load before planning how to move things. The truck was large enough to easily move everything in one trip, which was great. They wrapped all my furniture, some of which was challenging for a crew of two.
Dmitry showed up and give us an estimate. He was prompt and communicative. We had to move our date. I called weeks in advance to change the date, and didn't have a problem doing so. The day before our scheduled date, they had to change the date to the day after. In the end, it worked out better than the original scheduled date. The scheduled date was pouring down rain. The day of, was beautifully sunny. The crew was efficient, pleasant, and thorough.
