In their own words
We contacted Olympic Movers to help us do a local move in under a week. They came out and gave an estimate based on the amount of men, time and equipment that would be needed to complete the move and we agreed. The day of they showed up on time, worked courteously and diligently. Overall we were impressed with the work the movers performed. For the initial estimate they company insisted that a veteran member of the stuff visit the apartment to assess the job.
Horrible experience, caused major property damage and stonewalled every step of the way I want to warn anyone considering this company: do not hire them. What happened Short version: their crew ran over a section of our French drain, damaged trees on our property, left huge rutts in our driveway, and left glass where our kids play. We had already scheduled and paid to have the road/driveway paved, so their mistake directly impacted a major and expensive project.
We are truly sorry to hear about your experience and the concerns you’ve raised. We take all feedback and reports of damage extremely seriously. While we regret that our service left you feeling this way, please know that it is never our intention to cause harm to a customer’s property or to…
After our initial consultation I was excited to work with Olympic. They seemed very organized and professional. The actual day of moving was very different. The movers took apart every single piece of furniture down to the nuts and bolts. We have moved before and never had the need for this, but I figured it was just the way they did things. It took them over 8 hours just to pack up our house into a moving truck. The next day they met us at our new house.
⭐ If you're in search of professional moving services, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Olympic Moving & Storage, which is affiliated with Wheaton Van Lines and Bekins NW, is a disappointment from start to finish. One of the glaring issues is their very small fleet, which translates to a local agency that seems ill-equipped for the job. They often resort to packing and staging shipments on freight trailers handled by third parties, resulting in a lack of control and accountability. But that's not all.
The statements made in this review are not from a customer, but instead a disgruntled employee that is no longer with the company.
This was the worst experience we have had with a moving company. We bought a brand new home and hoped by hiring a moving company, that our new home would not be damaged by inexperienced workers. Two of the three men that showed up to move our items were brand new employees. When they moved our items to our new home, not only did they damage a few of our furniture pieces, they damaged walls in our brand new home.
Natasha, Please accept our sincerest apologies for any damage that was caused. Unfortunately, no matter how hard we try, we cannot prevent all damage caused by human error. We sent you our claim form on 4/26/19 with advice on how to fill it out.
Called in on Monday the 21st to do an office in Downtown Puyallup, by the end of the month. The office has maybe a combined 20 items. 5 of which are desks. But 1st they wanted to send a rep out to give a quote. Rep comes at 9am on Friday morning to give me a quote instead no quote comes in Friday or over the weekend. Then Monday morning I get a text I never gave them permission to text me. not a call, like a normal business would do saying they can't do the job.
This moving company is unorganized. They were supposed to have packed all of my household goods yesterday (6/21/2016) for transport but sent one guy out for two hours instead (the one mover that did show up was nice and professional). They were supposed to finish the job today but it is now 3:38 and no one has shown up. I've tried to call the office but nobody seems to have the ability to pick up.
Ms. Weber, we’re sorry for the moving experience that you have described. It is not the kind of service for which we are known. Our branch is under new management and will ensure that this kind of miscommunication or lack of communication is eliminated.
They packed everything so erratically, we can't find anything, and it's hard to find anything that goes together. They labeled boxes with one word descriptions when the boxes contained several items that were not similar. It was a 4 day job and they did not even complete it in 5 days. They didn't send enough of a crew to complete the job in a timely fashion. Then they told us that they didn't unpack when they were supposed to unpack.
Ms. Clark, we are so sorry to hear about your experience. This is highly unusual for us. Our GM, Pete, would love to discuss this further with you. We would appreciate the opportunity to make this situation better, and if we're unable to do that, we would still like to learn from what went wrong so…

In their own words
I’ve used four different moving companies over the last two years, and Paulo, Erica, and Joshua—the "three musketeers"—are hands-down the best. They were exceptionally professional, courteous, punctual, and highly efficient. What really sets them apart is their initiative. We had left some personal belongings outside that weren’t part of their packing list, but when the weather took a turn for the worse, they didn’t hesitate.
We're honored to hear this was your best moving experience. It’s especially rewarding to know the crew’s professionalism, efficiency, and initiative going above and beyond to protect your belongings from the weather—made such a positive impression.
I recently used Olympic Moving & Storage and had an overall positive experience. Before choosing them, I called several moving companies, and Olympic stood out early on. I worked with Aril, who was very professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. She made scheduling and planning the move feel straightforward and stress-free. On moving day, the team did a great job—especially with a delicate item I was concerned about: my organ.
Thank you for the thoughtful review, we really appreciate it. We’re glad to hear the process felt smooth and that your items, especially your organ, were handled with care. It’s great to know the team took the time to protect your home and deliver everything safely.
Prompt, worked fast, came in under the estimate and did a great job. Cannot ask for more from a mover.
Thank you for the great review!
We had an awesome experience with Olympic Moving & Storage. Gustavo, Ben, Oscar M., Ed, and Jesus were hardworking, careful, fast, and genuinely kind throughout the move. Gustavo especially deserves a shoutout. He led the crew incredibly well, worked nonstop the entire day, stayed organized, communicated clearly, and kept everything running smoothly even under pressure.
We’re thrilled to hear the crew made your cross-country move smoother especially with everything you had going on with a toddler, pets, and a full household. That’s exactly the kind of careful, organized, and reliable moving service we strive to provide. - The Olympic Moving & Storage Team
