In their own words
I moved at the beginning of May. The movers were 4 hours late and no one bothered to call me to let me know that they were going to be late. I had to call multiple times before someone answered. The movers instead of using the proper tools to take apart my bed, they used a power tool and stripped the bolt. Because they were so late, and I had a dog who had been left home alone for longer then planned, instead of having them put things where they belonged, I told them to just pile everything in one room, so I still…
Extremely expensive, expect to pay $1000 or more. There were several scratches in our brand new condo, which had just been built. The two stars are only for one of the employees, who was very nice. Other than that, I do not recommend it.
Although customer service was very friendly, the service was a bad experience. I called a month in advance and had to put down a $100 deposit. The move was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but they arrived almost two hours late, which delayed everything. The manager supposedly offered an extra helper to compensate time and, It was supposed to be quick, but it was useless. I had to pay for three hours of service, plus the deposit, meaning I paid $700, which is anything but economical.
I was very hopeful for this service for our recent move but after a rough start it kept getting worse. The first was that they under quoted the job and immediately had to call in another team member for an additional price. There was then …
The worst mover in Ottawa. They tried to charge me for parking fee and also brought a very large container that I didn’t need this much space and wanted to charge me more and gave us too much stress
They are take time and very slow , took a break to eat, drink and talk and they charged by hour, never recommend to anyone else, and never call this company again in the future, very bad movers.

In their own words
Great service. Two very professional movers, Pawandeep and Raman, arrived right on time. They called ahead and even offered to come earlier since their previous job finished early, but we asked them to stick to the scheduled time, which they did. They were personable, efficient, and made the move smooth and stress-free. Customer service was also responsive and communicative throughout. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re pleased to know that our team’s professionalism and dedication contributed to a successful move.
I didn't get their names, but my movers were the very best! They were friendly, prompt and very efficient. My furniture was handled with care and well wrapped to prevent damage. The rates were very reasonable and well worth the money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your company to everyone. Your service is impressive! Thank you so much!
We truly appreciate your trust and 5-star rating! Our team works hard to ensure each move is handled with care and professionalism. We’re glad to know you noticed.
I had a great experience with Economical Movers. Sohi and Jaspreet were professional, punctual, and worked incredibly efficiently from start to finish. They arrived right on time and completed my move in just 2.5 hours—much faster than the 4 hours I had anticipated. I also compared quotes from several companies, and Economical Movers offered the best rate without compromising on service quality. Everything was handled with care, and the entire process felt smooth and well-organized.
Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with us. We’re pleased our team handled your move with care, professionalism, and attention to detail.
I live in Ottawa, and needed to have some furniture moved around my house in dealing with the Canada Day flood. They came at exactly the time they said they would. Both Khush amd Jatinder were great! They were friendly, fast and careful. I would use them again for sure. .. D
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re happy to hear that everything was handled smoothly and professionally.
