Be very careful when choosing a mover. Do not use these guys and I’ll tell you why. We hired them to move us to Victoria. The quote was $13,500. We had the pack all our paintings and statues. Extra cost of course which we where happy to pay to make sure our stuff arrived safe in Victoria. It has been a nightmare. While we where driving our family to BC we get a call informing us the cost would be $19500 as they got the weight wrong.

Only posting this a year and half after my move now that the CRA has denied my moving expenses claim. Was doing a work relocation from Edmonton to Vancouver and decided to go the full service route to make it as stress free as possible, that couldn't have been more wrong. It seemed that the sales associate that came by for the quote was more interested in giving me a low price number to get my business rather than quote me for the space I actually required.
This review has been a long time coming... Mainly because when we used this company google reviews wasn't a thing. I DO NOT recommend this company. We used them in 2006 for a move across town. They were expensive even back then, and items went missing. Entire boxes as a matter of fact. As well, there were other items that were broken.
Our family used AMJ when we moved from Calgary to Halifax, Halifax back to Calgary, and Calgary to Langley. We are experienced and seasoned with moving and all of the AMJ processes. All of these past moves were very good. We are disappointed with our last move from Langley to St. Albert. Everything was amazing with the AMJ team in Vancouver/Langley - customer service, following through, communication, courtesy, professionalism.
Waited all day for this, no show, no call, no text or email. Office was closed when I called. A few of my furnitures were delivered with AMJ in the past two years, lots of problems from delivery and installation.

I can’t imagine a much worse home delivery company. I had two separate deliveries with them in the span of one week. The first time they delivered my kitchen island to the wrong house and then argued with me that it was in my driveway. The second time they showed up two hours ahead of the pre-arranged window and Insisted I come home early to meet them because it was their last delivery of the day. They were to deliver a new mattress and haul away an old one for disposal.

I am leaving a 1 star review only because the movers were decent (although despite having the boxes labeled with the room they came from and were to go to, many boxes were simply left in the living room). The unpackers, unfortunately, were not decent. All of our boxes were emptied into a mountain on the living room floor. Books, bath bombs, shoes, towels, electrical cords...everything into a giant pile.

Used AMJ in 2006 for a local move within Edmonton and it was flawless. Everything moved where it needed to be. Nothing missing, nothing broken, no damage on the walls in either property. Fast forward to 2024 and completely opposite. They rushed so fast, would not pause to listen to our directions of what went where. Our new flooring was scratched in multiple locations, ding on the wall to the basement, a desktop punctured on the top with something.

Moving and/or shipping beloved items across the country is stressful and traumatic. The team at AJM Campbell in Edmonton made it so easy and stress-free. The salesman Adrian Bak was patient, helpful, and informative. He explained the different containers they offer: Affinity (full-size) vault and Mini-Affinity (half-size) vault. He answered phone calls and emails very promptly.

AMJ’s communication was exceptional. I was always aware of the next steps and when they would occur. Their time window was always one hour and to be honest, they would show up in the first 15 minutes. There were 3 people who made this move much easier. Roger my driver who has 40 years of professional driving and millions of km’s under his belt loaded the truck better than I’ve ever seen. Not one thing was damaged, kudo’s to him and his crew!

I am a senior woman, a member of CARP, who used CARP's preferred vendor (Relocation Services Group) to book my move from Cobourg Ontario to Calgary Alberta. I was pretty apprehensive as I had never made a long distance move before. In addition, it seemed as if lots of folks couldn't wait to share their horror stories from broken things, to stolen things, to everything put in the living room - even though it had been labelled for other destinations in the house. RSC selected AMJ Campbell Edmonton to move my stuff.

Came across these two employees on June 29 7:30pm while they are on a job. They parked their vehicle directly over the road, blocking traffic from passing. I was on the way to an emergency and when I asked them to move, they shouted directly and arrogantly "I'm not moving", and told me to go around the block. Not only are these two oblivious/indifferent to the obstruction caused, they act entitled aggressively to their behavior when addressed.
