Do Not Book Elephant Movers. Very disappointed with the service we received with Elephant movers. They came an hour late, did not attempt to contact us nor apologize. We had a small one bedroom house worth of boxes and furniture to move about 1.5km to storage and ended up being charged nearly $1200 for three guys for 5 hours. They did not disclose when booking that there would be a $190 service fee. Nor did they explain the 3% charge for paying with credit.

I booked Elephant Movers to help with a residential move from my 1200 sq foot town house to my new place 10 minutes away. I paid a deposit and my rate was $165 for 3 men an hour. Starting at 10 am 1 hour into my move the owner Dmytriy began calling me saying this was a bigger job than expected and I needed to hire another man for an extra $55 an hour. Few minutes later he called back and said he wasn’t sending another person but began asking me to pay for an 8 hour move upfront!

I submitted my info for a callback for a moving quote about 1 week ago, someone called me back, and I was at work, so I asked if he could call me back in 30-45 mins. He said yes of course, he will do that. I never heard anything or got another call from them again. That tells me everything I need to know about the company and their communication and where not to bring my business.
Although the guys were polite and helpful but a 3-4 hour job (890 sqf apartment) took 7 hours from them. Very slow, killing time to charge customers more!

Elephant Moving has moved me three times. Each time they were very professional, worked speedy (even though paid by the hour) and had such positive attitudes. I had some pretty heavy items and they crushed it! I’d recommend for anyone who has a move to use them… great value for cost.

I was impressed with this company especially that they were able to move our massive living room couch to it's new home around a very tight corner and up a narrow stairwell that i was not sure would fit! Unfortunately after they left i noticed some small damage to a mirror frame and scrape on the drywall I reached out to the company and was surprised the owner followed up to offer to repair the damage personally the next day!
