In their own words
Elite Movers packed and moved our home and ultimately did an appalling and inexcusably terrible job. This company in no way shape or form should agree to packing up a home with such limited training and over-site for their employees. As we discovered egregious errors over and over again while unpacking the boxes, the job they did became more and more shockingly horrible.
I'm sorry your items were not packed to the standards you expected. We strive for perfection on every job! Please give me a call @ [phone removed] to discuss options to correct these issues. Jacob President/CEO
Filled out a request for a quote online on their website on a Saturday. Called their office on Monday and left a voicemail with the "estimates" department. Today is Tuesday and they have not returned either my email or my phone call. Going with Prompt Moving and Transportation instead since they answered the phone on my first call. Edit: to owner replying saying that I’m fortunate that I found a mover with a week notice - no I am not lucky someone was available on short notice.
Please forgive us! We do the best we can during the summer months to answer every call and return every message but sometimes there's just far too many requests for our small team to process during the peak moving season. Requests are handled first come first serve.
I wish I could give zero stars. We spoke with Josh on the phone and scheduled Elite Movers to bring a truck and three workers to help us move across town. We took off work to meet the movers at 8am. No one ever showed up! We called repeatedly and left several voicemails. Days later and we STILL haven't heard anything back. Do NOT book with Elite Movers if you actually want to move on the day that you take off work to move! Really disappointing and unprofessional customer service.
Hi Camella- Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take concerns like this seriously and wanted to look into this immediately. After reviewing our CRM and booking records, we were unable to find an appointment scheduled with our team through Elite Movers.
On the morning of our move, the movers did not show up. After calling to check on the situation I was told the movers had to go get another truck. After many calls and many no shows, I was finally told several hours after the original scheduled move time, that the move would not happen due to no truck available. Things happen that are out of our control, but I was never even given an apology and was strung along wasting most of the day.
I apologise for not being able to make our appointment. We strive to make all scheduled appointments on time. Unfortunately we had your scheduled truck and the backup truck break down that morning. Our mechanic and driver did all they could to get them going but was unsuccessful.
Usually not a review guy but need to make an exception here. Of all of my moves, including the military, this move was without a doubt my worst nightmare. These guys had absolutely no care for our belongings or our home. Not only did they knock a hole in the wall of our new home they broke my refrigerator door, did not reassemble multiple pieces of furniture because they lost screws or power cables to electric beds, did not hook the dryer back up as advertised and damaged multiple pieces of furniture and an…
Jim Paladino, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how stressful moving can be, and we take your concerns seriously. We have attempted to reach you to schedule the wall repair and discuss your feedback, but unfortunately, we have been unable to make contact.
Movers were high. Items damaged in move: 2k Lazyboy recliner ripped in the back, nursery glider soiled with mud, husband's lifetime collection of comic books destroyed, bookcase broken. Called to nicely report damaged items and was given an email address to send photos too. I had to ask Josh if he was on the line several times, because he wouldn't respond. I emailed the photos...no response. I called and spoke with the owner.
There was a total of 13 emails and 2 phone conversations to resolve the issues. In our last emails you agreed upon a settlement amount and the claim was closed. I will leave a brief comment below of what I had concluded upon investigation of this claim.
My move started at 8am. At 10:30am we were heading to my next location, but instead of heading straight there, I was informed that they were going to go eat at Waffle House. After I paid & tipped the moving crew, I started going through my boxes. Half of them were turned upside down. The driver backed the truck into my carport roof & just said “it’s fine” & the truck scraped up my driveway. The icing on the cake was finding that items had been taken from my drawers. Incredibly disappointing.
I apologize it has taken so long to respond to your complaint. It is not uncommon for our movers to take lunch at 10:30. They burn a ton of calories moving furniture and running boxes. I find it very difficult to believe any boxes were turned upside down during the move.

Frank and his team just finished moving us. They were very professional. Communication was excellent before arrival. They showed up on time and started working right away. They were careful with our stuff and everything arrived undamaged. They placed things where we asked and got everything moved in 8 hours. Moved it all myself with 4 kids helping last time. Took 16 hours, so Elite is worth every penny. The estimate was accurate and price was very good for the service.

My fiancé and I recently bought a house and didn't have the time or resources to move from our previous house to our new home. I reached out to Hudson (he's awesome) from Elite Movers and they responded super quickly with availability and a quote. Great price for great service. They removed all of the stress and burden of making a move...even in the rain! Would highly recommend them for any of your moving needs!

1st Move with Elite: I have conducted 12 moves in the past 20 years. Elite was hands down the best move I have experienced. The ease of scheduling, their flexibility in changing dates at the last minute and the care they took moving my household goods was unmatched! 2nd Move with Elite: I recently used Elite Movers again, and once again they exceeded my expectations. Travis, Bo, and Morgan were an outstanding team; very personable, professional, and extremely careful with all of our belongings.

I cannot say enough good things about Elite Movers! I have moved 5 times over the past 5 years, and I used a different moving company for each of my previous moves. The very first thing that stood out to me about Elite Movers was their professionalism—I signed a contract, which included an itemized breakdown of how my rate would be calculated on the day of my move.
