PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW, VIEW OUR PICS, AND CHECK BBB BEFORE BOOKING WITH ELITE!!! TLDR: THEY CAUSED $14K OF DAMAGE TO OUR THINGS AND ARE OFFERING 60 CENTS/POUND I hired Elite Moving and Storage for an interstate move from Chicago to Philadelphia, paid $6,025, and experienced carelessness far beyond any reasonable expectation for an interstate move.
First, I would like to begin this review by saying that the guys packing up and unloading our things were nothing but the best. However, working with the office side of things was a complete nightmare. I am not sure if nightmare is strong enough. It was quite easily the worst customer service I have ever received in all my life.

Please look past the fake 4-5 star ratings that Elite employees are posting. Look on Yelp, and see for yourself. Take the time to read all the 1-star reviews, because that is truly the experience you will receive with this moving company. First, I was in communication with Nick at STI Moving & Storage throughout the entire process. However, in the end, it was Elite Moving & Storage that came and destroyed my items. So confusing – how did Elite Moving & Storage come into the picture?
Amongst damaging some of our interior furniture (CB2, West Elm, Crate & Barrel), Elite Moving & Storage failed to wrap our outdoor furniture (even though their policy is to blanket wrap ALL furniture) - thus leaving dents and scratches all over our expensive mixed metal/wood furniture. Our stuff was mishandled several times (loading truck, unloading into storage, loading trailer, unloading) so our furniture certainly saw rough days. The insurance claim took over 6 months to get back to us.

The move was on time and under budget. They also helped me rearrange furniture when I changed my mind once I got to the new place. And they were very nice about it and with me generally. It does help if you, the customer, are well prepared in advance of the movers’ arrival.
