⭐☆☆☆☆ Completely useless and disorganized experience. My wife called Joey Movers this morning to get a simple quote for moving a couple of items. We never heard anything back. Later in the afternoon, I called again myself just to find out what was going on. Every other moving company I contacted was able to provide a quote immediately or within minutes. Joey Movers somehow couldn’t handle that basic task.
Moving is never enjoyable. Compound that with the likes of Joey’s Movers and it’s owners (Joey Sr. And his wife) and you’ll never want to move again. They charge a premium price and provide an inferior service. They moved our belongings and treated our valuables like they were taking out the garbage. Worse yet, there insurer denied our claim.
Used them in the past. Movers were high as can be, broke my stuff when moving it and laughed, then while moving a dresser on my new wood floors the movers dragged it on the wood floor ruining it. Had to call a professional company that …
I only gave it one start cause I could not give it ZERO STARS!!!! Zero stars is actually what they deserve. If you are looking for great customer service and stress free moving......DO NOT PICK THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! They are horrible!!!!!!!!! We asked them prior to scheduling if they were able to reassemble a hospital bed in its entirety including the mattress and we were told yes they are familiar putting hospital beds together.
I have used Joey's movers twice. The first time, my move was fine and went relatively smoothly. This time, it was a very unpleasant experience; they didn't send enough movers (so I hired another mover from TaskRabbit on the spot to help out, which greatly increased the cost of the move), the move took almost 4 times as long as I had been quoted for, and the owner was rude and defensive over the phone when I called to see if they could send out another mover.
For Christmas my in-laws gave my children a piano, and they gave me the gift of paying for the piano movers to deliver the piano. They chose Joey’s Movers, and it is a decision that I would not recommend to anybody. The day Joey’s movers …

Joeys movers broke several of our items and after a year of back and forth with documentation they then failed to pay us the money we were owed. Will not use again.

Highly Recommended! I recently used Joey's Movers to move from an apartment to a townhouse, and I couldn't be happier with the service. From the very beginning, the experience was excellent. When I first contacted them to ask for information, the team was responsive, friendly, and professional. They clearly explained everything, including pricing and scheduling, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. On moving day, the crew arrived on time and handled everything with great care.
As soon as Joey's Movers arrived, they surveyed the job, brought in appropriate boxing materials then worked smoothly and steadily until the job was complete. At the new home end as well, Joey's Movers were careful to put the boxes into the rooms where they belonged.
Joey's did an awesome job. They were easy to schedule with and their team showed up and did the work that needed to be done. Petey, Rocky, and Maurice were quick, efficient, and polite, and they did both end of the move - packing and loading one day and then doing the reverse the very next day.
The experience was great… We’ve had the same two guys- Elpidio and Roque- come to our house twice. They’re both friendly, polite, incredibly efficient and careful. We would use Joey’s Movers again because of them! Thank you for a job very well done!!
