In their own words
Not only were we misquoted thousands of dollars by Tim of Emerald Coast Moving but they damaged multiple family heirlooms. We chased Tim for months by calling, texting, emailing because he promised to make it right with us. He even made my wife call around and get 4-5 quotes for each category of item they ruined to make sure he wasn't overpaying to fix the item. They ruined a Hans Wegner style danish table, a french Morbier clock, a walnut bed frame, a mirror and an art piece. Then he ghosted us completely!
Worst company ever...DO NOT USE THEM!! First off they were a day late to pick up my stuff then they had driver issues and I didn't receive my things for over 3 wks, thing were missing and things were broken totaling over 1500.00 and they want to settle for 75.00 RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

The movers were great they deserve stars. They were gentle, fast and nice people. When it came time to pay we were charged for 4 hours. We paid over $1,000! No one told us from the get go we were going to be charged from the time they left Santa Rosa to our home and then back. It was only 4 hours of work for that price. We had way more options I wish I would of looked into it further. This was not paid by the military and no military discount was given either.
Do not use this company!! They are very dishonest, will quote you one price and then demand more money later because they couldn’t estimate a move properly. Their packing skills are extremely subpar and they ruined a lot of my elderly father’s items which we will have to pay to replace because they don’t answer phone calls after you pay them or stand behind their business. Their attitude does a complete 180 after you pay them, so don’t believe their facade and be very aware that they will probably scam you.

Emerald Moving & Storage did a fantastic job with our recent move. They were very thorough in moving each piece very carefully and took the time needed to wrap and secure all furniture. They did a great job reassembling the beds and such. The 2 man team was so polite, professional and helpful. I would use them again in a heartbeat but hopefully this will be our last move in the area. Tim was great to deal with for our move. He responded to my calls/emails in a prompt manner.

I was very impressed with the crew they sent us to move our office from one to the next. The guys were very nice and working quickly even in the crazy heat. When we got towards the end of the day when a big storm was rolling in we asked when they’d be back to finish. They brought in more guys and stayed until everything was done late that night without hesitation. We were not expecting that at all. Everything was well cared for in the move.
