In their own words
Start at the top, get left hanging there. This was the worst and most stressful move ever. The movers were supposed to arrive at 8:00 to get started, they called at 8:15 saying they were on their way and got started around 8:35. The guys worked hard, but not very good at packing a truck. When the truck was full front to back, it was only half full top to bottom which meant paying a lot of extra money for a second trip.
Honestly if there was an option for no stars I would put that. 1) got a quote from a very nice man which was totally off. 1 truck load, 1 trip, no problem...well not true. and since it cost by the hour it increased the quote by $300. Strike one. 2) Then the guys loading the day of, just out of prison (not an assumption from the neck tattoos, they actually stated they were incarcerated) told me "you live in a nice house and you are 38, I'm 45 and live in a trailer". What do you say to that....? awkward! strike two.
Late for estimate. Missed estimate date. Arrived late for estimate. Didn't send estimate. Contacted later in day about estimate. that was supposed to arrive that afternoon, instead was involved in a personal business transaction. Never got …

Update: Upon unloading our possessions, we found that our items were consistently under protected and/or packed carelessly. After totaling over $1000 in damaged goods, we filed an appeal to the Denali group overseeing the Summit Movers job. While the packers were efficient as noted below, they did not treat our items with any concern whatsoever. If choosing Summit Movers, i’d inspect their work carefully and ensure enough packing material is utilized. Good moving experience today.

I can't believe how unethical these guys were. It took them over six hours to unload a storage unit -- with our help! They were CLEARLY milking the whole "hourly rate" thing, which is bad business and so appalling. I 110% do NOT recommend. Use Affordable Movers. They LITERALLY take half the time.
My guys are anything but unethical. Family men that work hard for customers. Your move 2nd Floor elevator into a 26' box truck 90 degree, 120 + inside the truck. Loaded for long distance.

They were courteous, careful with our belongings, and worked hard to make what could have been a stressful day feel easy and organized. I cannot say enough good things about this company! I have moved many times in my life, and this is the first time there has been no stress. They showed up on time, the estimate they provided for the move was within 15 minutes!! The two men that did our move did not slow down for a second! They took great care of all of our furniture and we did not experience so much as a ding on a piece of furniture. It is apparent that they only hire very high quality people.

As a military spouse, I've moved 17 times in 29 years. Summit Movers is absolutely at the top of my list of all-time BEST MOVING COMPANIES, ANYWHERE. Brandon is an EXPERT crew chief and his team (shout-out to Tommy, John, Shay, Mike & Cedric) handled a three-phase pack-up and multi-destination move with such efficiency and experience that I had no anxieties during the process. Owner Dave and his manager Terohn were equally as professional and easy to work with throughout the scheduling and planning stages.

Moved from a second floor apartment to a larger second floor apartment, in the middle of August during a heat wave. Thomas & John did such a fantastic job handling our furniture and boxes with care and didn‘t once complain about all the stairs in this heat. They had us moved in less than 6 hours and were such a pleasure to work with. We will definitely use Summit in the future if we need moving services, and will recommend to our friends and family! Fantastic experience, and the price for 5.25 was extremely fair!
