This is not a reputable company. You’re lured in with a low base rate only to ultimately be up charged for various things afterwards. When the movers arrived the guy remarked at how much stuff I had and suggested that I needed and extra man that he conveniently already had with him. Upon asking he informed me it would be and additional $30 per hour, which I agreed to. He said the extra man would make the process go faster.
I booked with exodus moving company in March of 2021 for an in-state local move into a storage unit. To clarify I booked for packing as well as moving and unloading my stuff into storage so there was no unpacking or assembly involved. I was told the packing would take 2hrs and moving it into the truck and unloading in the storage unit which was 15 mins away approximately 3.5hrs at 120/hr. I was told the supplies would cost an additional $233 and $120 for the truck.
One Star - Terrible Service First, I specifically asked for the movers to arrive at 9am because my apartment has strict freight elevator rules. Instead, they called me at 7:30am, saying they’d be at my place by 8am. This forced me to hunt down a maintenance worker and insist that the elevators be started early, as I didn’t want to be charged for the movers showing up outside the agreed time.
They don’t even deserve the star I gave but giving no stars is not an option !!! We just recently used this company on December 12th! The entire experience was horrible, our first red flag was when I initially called and the representative asked why I didn’t use an apartment locator to move me, but since they had 4.6 stars I still wanted to try them out. Our move time was set from 12-2 but no one contacted us to indicate an ETA on our move date.

My husband and I were shopping around for quotes and this was his first call. He gets a price and then says he’s going to check with me first. The rep then tells him “just tell me it’s too much. I’d respect it more if you said that rather than tell me you have to check with your wife over $200.” He then refuses to give his name. Absolutely unprofessional. I’ll be sure none of our friends or family ever give them business.

Horrible customer service. Did not end up hiring them. Person on the phone giving me an estimate was completely rude. This was the first place I called. All other places after we’re easy to talk with and quickly gave me an estimate on my move.

Mauricio Jr. was the one that helped me I can’t say enough good things about this moving company! They helped me with a last-minute move and made the entire process so much less stressful. They arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and handled all of my belongings with great care. The crew was extremely respectful, professional, and courteous from start to finish. They listened to my concerns, treated my home and furniture with respect, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was moved safely.
The Maurico Jr team was awesome. I love the customer service that they gave. They were very efficient.
