Not even worth 1 star. What an awful experience for an already stressful event. I was so disappointed with the end result of my move. I overpaid for wasted time and I am out thousands of dollars from items that never made it off the truck into my house. When I was directed to reach out to Jay the owner about all the missing items I discovered the day of unpacking he was anything but friendly, understanding or professional about the situation.
I do not recommend. At all. We just finished our move. The gentleman leading the other two movers not only was abrasive when we asked questions, but continued to call my girlfriend and I "Mami" in front of her son, which is totally inappropriate. The estimate turned out to be twice the amount quoted. We expected it may be more but the five hours estimate only took 6 hours. Fine, they got the job done.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Worst moving company ever. They sent over a third party moving company last minute the day I was moving. I was told 4 people and we will be there at 9:30am. Third party comes at 12:30pm wearing flip flops and the other guy smelling like weed. Took forever cause it was two people instead of the four. I told them to follow me they said they’ll use the gps. It was a 5 hour trip to my new home. I called them when I was driving and nobody answered.
I was recommended my contractor to use Father and Son Moving and Storage because I had a large expensive wall unit to move. I got an estimate and hired Father and Son Moving and Storage because the owner assured me they would be able to move the wall unit. When the movers arrived they told me they could not move the wall unit because it was too large. I insisted they had to move the unit, it was moving day! They took the wall unit apart and damaged it beyond repair.
Do not use. They are horrible movers. They moved and stored my stuff and damaged numerous items. Crews are careless and didn't pad things properly. All they did was complain about how little they were making. Find a better company than …

Everything about this move exceeded my expectations. The crew was friendly, punctual, and careful with every box and piece of furniture. During the move, Father & Son Moving & Storage provided excellent communication and made sure the entire experience went smoothly. Highly recommended.
After speaking with three other companies I went with Father & Son Moving because they actually listened to what I needed instead of pushing extra services on me. The move itself was efficient, the crew was kind, and the final price matched the quote perfectly, very pleased with the whole experience.
I was skeptical because moving companies have notoriously bad reputations. Father & Son Moving was a surprisingly easy, smooth experience! Mike came out to the house to see what we needed to have moved. He was responsive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process. He and Jay were even able to coordinate having a dining room set picked up at a different location. On moving day, three men came to our house and immediately got to work. Our furniture was wrapped and handled with care.

I am very happy with father and son moving and storage. I dealt with Jay, the owner, who is a real gentleman and a great person to work with. He gave me an estimate and it was right on with what the charge turned out to be. The movers were super professional, wrapping things up, and all of my furniture and paintings and wine bottles were all taken care of with such great care that it was amazing. They boxed things up for me and made this as seamless as possible.
