First and last time dealing with this moving company! Abe, who I assume is the manager lied about pricing and overcharged me. I was charged $600 for a move that took literally 1hr and 15min from start to finish. When I initially called, I advised that I didn't have much stuff as I was only moving bags of clothes, a few storage bins, 2 nightstands and a mattress. Abe advised that the minimum was 3 hours but if the move didn't take that long, he would not charge me for the full 3 hours.

I was in a bad situation. I needed a same day mover. I am a hoarder and my scheduled movers refused to move me once they saw how much stuff I have, and that there was mold in the basement. Ade, the owner said he was willing to work with me. I explained that I was only given 11 days to move out of my childhood home. He only sent me ONE person to pack me that Sunday, then the second day he sent an additional guy, who was HIGH, REEKED of Marijuana, and was observed by junk removal smoking it on my mother's property.

EDIT (Feb 2025) in response to owner message: You definitely have us confused with another customer. We agreed on the rate for both eviction processes, there was no discount offered, and there was definitely not a refusal to pay - we have the bank/credit card statements to that affect. We take issue with the fact that for an eviction, FECH agreed to provide a 20 person crew, a truck, boxes, tape, and any other materials required for the process.

Summary: inaccurate in novice estimate and very rude owner, screaming at me the day of the move. I had a very disappointing experience with FECH and Ade. Initially, Ade was pleasant and understanding, which convinced me to choose their service for my move. However, a week before the move, he refused to put anything in writing—no texts or emails—and insisted on handling everything over the phone. I found this unusual and expressed my concern, at which point Ade became defensive.

There is much I could say. I’ll start with saying: avoid this company. They are not insured and don’t know how to move anything. I hired them to move a refrigerator down one flight of stairs to my garage. I had informed them of all relevant details (fridge size, number of stairs, etc) when I was booking them, and they confirmed that they have the necessary equipment to move a fridge. They assured me that they would send people who could move the fridge with the necessary equipment.

I highly suspect that a lot of these good reviews here are FAKE, or the quality of movers from this company is RANDOM. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My experience with FECH was the WORST of all the moving companies across the states. As described in all of the 1-star reviews, although they were polite, the movers were careless and damaged boxes and furniture during moving, and lied about all their travel time. And the manager (the one on the phone) supported such quality of moving.
