We were very disappointed by the employees of this company at the very end of the moving day. Total three things were destroyed by them, and they never apologized. When i saw one of employee that he dropped my box and collect some of my stuff, he just said that the container was not tough, and he never said apology that he dropped and broke my stuff. Without apologizing, he was also trying to hide my broken mirror, which would have never told me from him if I hadn't checked it.
We are very sorry that you had this happened during your move and those are not our practices or how we operate! There’s no record of this with any of our moves, If you could please, give our office a call tomorrow morning.
I hired Colby with Finesse movers for his TV mounting and handyman services. I was extremely dissatisfied with his service. He showed up late, tried to mount my tv upside down, showed up without proper tools and supplies and would have to make multiple trips to Lowe's to get what he needed, installed my dishwasher and left without checking it and there was a hole in the drain hose leaking everywhere.
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FINESSE MOVERS. YOU DID NIT HIRE FINESSE MOVERS. I apologize but that was not performed by finesse movers. That is a totally different company (All around the House handyman) Also anytime a handyman service comes out they have to go to a store in order to get parts…
Prompt response from Colby when I submitted a quote request. Unfortunately I never received the formal quote in my email, and when I reached out to him via text to reiterate I was still interested/waiting, I got literally no response. On to the next…
I sent you a quote, but I had the email address wrong by one letter. I tried to correct and resend the estimate over to you and was denied.
0 stars if I could. Specifically unprofessional behavior from “Colby” who threatened to call ICE. I don’t feel comfortable giving a business my money that wants to deport all my neighbors.
We have no idea who you are and we have never serviced you. We would never say anything like that. “Colby” the owner and his wife are Hispanic and have immigrant parents and children. This makes no sense.
Shoppers, just a reminder to check other reviews listed on other sites like Yelp, etc... This company has an F ranking on their BBB page. I wanted to give Colby and Finesse Movers the opportunity to resolve several issues directly before leaving a review, but unfortunately after multiple attempts to follow up I stopped receiving a response. My move took place mid January.
Dishonest owner, no-shows, unpaid workers — avoid at all costs I rarely write reviews, but what happened with Finesse Movers was so egregious I feel obligated to warn anyone considering hiring them. My original booking was for 3 movers at 8:30 AM. Colby, the owner, rescheduled me to 11 AM and promised a 4th mover at no charge as compensation for the inconvenience.
I did a long distance move. The two men that help with the move were very respectful. For the most part they did a good job I did find boxes that were upside down. The reason I am giving them a one star is because they took advantage of me & ripped me off. The final bill ended up being over $600 from the quote they provided me with. They double charged me on service fuel. I had initially provided Colby exact addresses & exact mileage so they had exact numbers. They also charged me for and extra hour of labor.
Thank you for your review. Before the move you were quoted an hourly rate which you signed and agreed to. Our estimate was conducted over the phone (you refused the in person estimate) which isn’t a guaranteed quote. We just base the numbers off past moves.
Beware! Didn’t show and never called. Took my money and never showed up. I have been working with Colby. I paid his company a deposit for a move. He was scheduled to come out Sunday to estimate the move. On Sunday I called to confirm he would be at my house at noon. He told me he was in California and couldn’t make it after all. He forgot all about me. I was in a bind so I rescheduled with Colby for Tuesday. He called one hour before he was supposed to be at my home and canceled again.
LATE FOR ESTIMATE NOT MOVE. Hello and good afternoon sir. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced while dealing with finesse movers. Please note that this is a VERY busy time for us and we are still catching up from the winter storm. However we did not take your money.

I can’t say enough good things about Finesse Movers! From start to finish, their professionalism, efficiency, and care made our move completely stress-free. The team arrived on time, worked quickly, and handled all of our belongings with the utmost care. Not a single item was damaged or scratched, and they even went above and beyond to help us arrange furniture in our new space. Their communication was excellent throughout the process, and they were incredibly friendly and respectful.
Colby gave us a great price & quote & hooked us up with 3 amazing guys to help our move from Dallas to Plano! Zach, Ralph, & Will killed it today and made the entire process so easy & quick! They were all so sweet and paid attention to detail where it mattered! Felt so comfortable trusting them in our home and with our belongings! I was referred to Finesse Movers by a family friend and I am beyond grateful for Colby and his team. Moving is tough; but if you partner with PROFESSIONAL movers with exemplary customer service, it will streamline the process for you. They showed up on time and Roberto and his crew (Adrian, Brandon, Michael, Brad) walked around our home and told me how they would handle everything. Much to my surprise, they did just that in a timely manner too.
I recently hired Finesse Movers to move me out of 2 storage units in Irving to my home in Frisco. I actually found them via a TT post and decided to give them a shot. I couldn’t have made a better decision. I booked with Colby; who was absolutely amazing. Kind, professional, and full of positive energy. Now for the move. Let me start by saying, the storage units were… there are no words… The people that moved me into my storage prior left things so incredibly disorganized.
