Avoid this moving company at all costs. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Before booking, I was told that if I paid cash, I wouldn’t have to pay HST. Later, I was told that if I paid by e-transfer, my move would be covered by insurance in case anything was damaged. I chose to pay by e-transfer based on those assurances. Before the move, I was also promised that all of my furniture would be carefully wrapped and protected.
I had a very disappointing experience with this moving company. The service was unprofessional from start to finish. The movers arrived late, worked slowly, and handled my belongings without proper care. Several items were scratched and …
Update; I have emailed, we have been discussing resolving this and you continue to drag the process out. The lack of accountability and professionalism is astounding. You have received documentation. It's at the point of legal resolution to address this. I hope anyone reading this has the opportunity to avoid the financial and emotional cost of a company that is dishonest and damaging. I recently used Finest Movers for my move from Mississauga to Pickering, and it was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a moving company. The team arrived 4 hours late without any proper explanation. Once they finally showed up, they spent nearly 3 hours packing basic items and even came unprepared without the necessary tools to dismantle my sofa. I had to provide my own tools just so they could continue the job.
Finest movers are NOT finest movers. I am NOT someone to write a review (even if it is bad, I will let it go, but this time the experience was HORRIBLE!) INEFFICIENCY, POOR COMMUNICATIONS, POOR WORKMANSHIP, SELFISH MANAGER (I gave workers half an hour UNPAID break, and the manager said at the end of the day THEY DO NOT NEED A BREAK and CHARGED ME FOR THAT BREAK!! The opposite of fine. This was the least professional company especially at this price point. They showed up 45 mins after the window they promised. The truck was a bread delivery truck, the movers had no tools, no knowledge of disassembly and struggled to get furniture in and out. They were also very slow.
