We hired Raptor Movers to move from a condo townhouse in Toronto to a detached home in Mississauga. However, they arrived 3 hours late and without any calls during the morning to notify us of their delay. Raptor Movers also proceeded to charge us with additional fees such as $60 for stairs once they arrived, even though we confirmed the prices upon booking.
I really was hoping that I would have been able to do business with them and post a positive review. Unfortunately, they were incredibly unprofessional. First of all, they are unresponsive, and only respond after hours of waiting, saying they will call back 5 minutes, when in fact, they do not call. They then make appointments, where I then reserved the elevator. No follow-up calls, no confirmations. An hour before the pickup, and still nothing.

This is the first and last time i'll use Raptor movers, Very unprofessional, Hiring movers is to make your life hassle free and believe me i learned the hard way, one of the most stressful days in a long time. They booked me in for a 2:30pm move. They did not show up, did not call to tell me they would be late or a reason and didn't answer my phone calls for 2 hours.
Please stay away from this company! I booked them to move me. They have me a 2:00 appointment and they showed up 4:00 I had explained to them that I'm moving into an apartment building and I have booked the elevator for a certain time. The boss whose name is Tony assured me that the truck will be at my home for 2pm but not only did they turned up late... they have a bunch of hidden fees separate from what they have quoted me previously on the phone. They were forcing me to sign for 5 hours job....

Hired this company to help my then 83 year-old mother move as I live outside Canada and could not be there when she needed to move. The movers took a coffee table they were supposed to take to the next location for my mother and also lost a box with her family photos, important documents and other items of sentimental value. She was clearly communicated to the movers that she needed that particular box moved to her new location. The items were irreplaceable so she was very disappointed.

We got 1 flat rate qoute with free assessment through nick and it was my best decision as all the tips and tricks proved very helpful on moving day . Before I say more, I must share that I am someone who has moved A lot in my life with my parents and on my own . . .
