In their own words
Used them for a move recently and was less than impressed. The crew who unloaded our U-Haul was not the same crew who loaded it. This led to furniture hardware that couldn’t be found, shelving that they didn’t know how to put back together etc. I ended up finding some of the hardware and was able to instruct them on how to put one of the beds back together, the other bed was left disassembled, we threw away the shelves since we couldn’t figure those out, and they damaged an expensive dresser.
This was a move that was unfortunate and we delivered what we were able to despite the rescheduling you had requested multiple times because of circumstances and fitting you in on the same day we had another job going.
Cody, it was great seeing you at the last event, but you disappeared before I could follow up with you about the broken table you had promised to have the insurance company pay to replace. It was a shame you did not follow through with what you had pledged to after you broke our kitchen table. Your company was reasonably priced, and you did a reasonable job. If you had followed through with the damaged table, this would be a 5-star review. It is a shame you have no follow through to fixing your mistakes.
There has been a lot of changes since our encounter I would love to follow up with this situation. And come to a resolution together.
Let me start off with the worst business sense I've ever seen in my life. This company is doomed to fail. They will start with Cody coming by and looking at what has to be moved and give you a quote that is super desirable. Now this is after "the boss" that should have a reasonable idea within hours of how long a move should take. I was originally quoted about 1200 plus truck rental which would be closer to 1800. The day before the move he decided to change it to a higher quote of a little above 2000.

Very helpful team for packing. Totally absent when needed for unpacking. Detailed invoice not provided after multiple requests. Maybe cheating on tax?

Above and Beyond Service — Highly Recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cody and his crew at First Response Moving were absolutely outstanding. I was in a stressful situation when my new sofa wouldn’t fit in the elevator to my 4th-floor condo. I texted Cody in the evening, and he responded right away. Even more impressive, he graciously came the very next day — on a day he normally doesn’t work — because he knew I was only in town for a couple of days. He and his team were kind, professional, and incredibly efficient.
